Back atcha man. It's almost like monastics read the Bible or something... ;D
Some monasteries, esp. the really old ones, have observatories, even multiples. You likely know this, some don't.
I wish I would have remembered this story earlier...
One time when I was at the Benedictine monastery, a disagreement arose among a group of monks about the meaning of a particular passage. I don't remember what it was exaclty and if what was being interpreted was from a vulgate or other.
Just happened, that a Dominican friar was visiting the monastery at the time. It was asked of him to help settle the disagreement. I'm not sure if he was able to give his opinion on it immediately, but he did request a Bible in Hebrew. For whatever reason, there wasn't one on hand. So then, I had the privilege to drive this Dominican friar and the Benedictine prior to a Barnes and Noble to acquire a copy, which was several hours away. It was a wonderful thing to witness, as a layman, to such an important matter to be settled by truely great and holy minds.
Moral of the story... "literal" is far more than what some seem to understand here. Until one has studied the language and customs of those who penned the Bible, don't waste peoples time with your silly "interpretations."
