Apocalypse 7:1 "I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth"

Isaiah 40:22 " It is he that sitteth upon the globe of the earth"

They are totally contradictory if one is to take it literally. Your mention of the Firmament only shows that you are mindlessly spamming empty talking points.

The far ends of the world; all parts of the world in other words.   The word translated “corners,” as in the phrase above, is the Hebrew word, KANAPH. Kanaph is translated in a variety of ways. However, it generally means extremity. As in the farthest or most remote part.

It is proven that we who do not agree with you have the correct interpretation, because if the Bible states literally as you say it does referring to the word "corner."  Then the Church would have made it a dogma to believe such.  Just as the Church has made it a dogma about the Eucharist; a teaching hard for non-Catholics to understand; the Church, Rome has said so.
  
Not so when it comes to your interpretation of the word "corner". 
 
Within a vast globe, there are many corners.
