  • You're just gonna hurt yourself trying to wrangle sense from one who thinks in memes, platitudes and whatever is on the back of a Buick.
Yea, your right... but I'll tell you what, I've seen many a sensible thing on the back of a Buick, just can't share it here though.

  • If those who believe they are so smart to insist the world is flat should be smart enough to turn the Child board into a positive.

    But ... I wonder now ... and ...

Perhaps they are not even Catholic, or they should have been inspired by the word of God.

"Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as littlechildren, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
    [Matthew 18:3]
Well then, if you are Catholic you'd be inspired by this..

Well yeah, but there's "conforms to reality" vs. "Forms 'my reality' cuz it sounds bad#*& even though I haven't really thought it through at all."

For example, take the little gem right above this post.

Possible response? "Explain the convo then."

Or, "If an adult never told me that I was wrong, such as with LYING...?"

    #3. "Show me justice please"

#4. You love your (mom, dog, whatever)? Prove it. Show it to me.

#5. Is there a monster in your closet?

Now, how long do you suppose it will take before the Prostratants start breaking out the "charity bats" to the "Schindler's List" soundtrack?

I wonder how many Church Fathers believed in, for example, the "Humour Theory"
    of disease?

    :p

I am deeply inspired and confused why the FE people are insulted by the use of the word "child". Yes, I saw the humor in it and was waiting for the comeback but apparently, they can't see anything except their own fixation of the shape of the world.

Also, do you see how your ilk has turned this topic which is about the terminology of words a programmer used for software,  into another topic proving they are plagued, obsessed with this idea that really makes no difference to our salvation?

This is an example of their anguish they wish to inflict upon others.
    Please pray for my soul.

"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

I'm sad to see that you have such a hateful attitude toward your fellow traditional Catholics. You're not the only one.

I asked about the terminology earlier today, but really, it wasn't a big deal. I had no idea that there was such a thing as "Parent/Child" in regards to computer terminology. Now I know.

The Resistance isn't what I thought it was. Though I think that there have been too many flat earth threads, the basic hateful attitude toward flat earthers shows serious character flaws, which can't be fixed by attending a Latin Mass, and having the correct Catholic views. The problem goes deeper than that.

Where is my hatred? I am trying to show them the positive of the word "child" based on the word of God.
They and YOU can't see it!

Instead, you all insist on our agreeing to your idea of the shape of the earth.  It has become an addiction of yours. Which is why they bring the subject up in every thread on this forum, somehow it is slipped into all discussions.

This strange idea of yours that everything can be fixed by attending a Latin Mass, sounds like you actually believe that those who attend a Latin Mass are going to be "enlightened" to believe the earth is flat.

What happened to the Catholic belief about receiving grace while participating at a Latin Mass?

It goes both ways, Meg, if you think that we who deny your way of thinking about the shape of the earth are "too hard" on you, read what they say about us.  Notice their love!

You poor little person can dish it out but can't take it!  Just like the liberals.

    Please pray for my soul.

  • You poor little person can dish it out but can't take it!  Just like the liberals.
I've not seen any flat earthers come here to dish it out.
    .
I've seen flat earthers come here to discuss how they came to the truth after being deceived their whole lives about the shape of God's Creation.
    .
In response, I've seen total blasphemy, hatred, derision, and insults hurled at them for their acknowledgment of this truth - even, and especially, from you Myrna.
    .
    .
Flat earthers aren't concerned with dishing it out. They're concerned with discussing the greatest deception perpetrated on humanity in the last 500 years, and concerned with helping their fellow Catholics back to the belief in God's Word and what it SAYS - not what "science" says. Science LIES.
