That is so funny since I was a real estate agent in California for 24 years, and some liked the yards flat but some like them a little artistic with curves. Some loved living high on a hill, hardly anyone wanted to live in the flood flat zones, nor did the lenders want to loan on them either.   It all depends, there was a buyer for every home if the price was right.

Speaking of the guy who needs prayers, however, Lastdays does not want to learn from the Blessed Mother when she described the earth as a Globe either, so what does that say about Lastdays.

The guy apparently is not Catholic and I am sure you heard God's name in vain many times by perhaps even some friends of yours.

It is not in scripture that the world was created flat, anyway.

Pray for him to become a Traditional Catholic, or would you be afraid of his conversion since he made you think?

Flat is not even a good design, give God more credit, will you.  It is equal to

Shrill? What's "shrill" about it? You seem too sensitive about shrillness. Have you been accused of being "shrill?"
.
Flat-earthism flat-lining. ... Has a nice ring to it. Not "shrill" in the least. Kind of sonorous, actually.

There is a little circle in the top left corner with 4 ^ marks (up, down, left, right) and you have to click on those 4 arrows to make the camera angle move up, down, left, right and rotate. It rotates when you switch to an adjacent arrow after reaching the limit of the previous arrow.
.
No matter which direction you position the viewer the earth below appears with the same curvature all around it so it's verifiable this is not due to any distortion. Plus, all straight lines in the foreground remain straight lines.
.
You have to watch out for the little circle moving up and down all by itself while you're looking at the picture, because if you click your mouse without looking at where your mouse arrow is pointing you can be clicking on something you didn't intend to click on since the little circle has moved while you're not looking at it.
.
This might be too sophisticated for a lot of viewers who are used to non-interactive movie-like pictures.
.

.

I don't know.  Some of the objects in the background look fake ... like bad CGI.  I rotated around to see the spacecraft, the astronaut, etc. ... and it looks like somebody drew them with watercolors.

When we see images of earth from the International Space Station it isn't the entire planet because the ISS does not have enough elevation in its orbit to see the whole earth. All a viewer on the ISS can see is an area of a few thousand miles diameter on the face of the earth.

That would be more than enough to see some significant curvature.

.
It does show significant curvature. When you point that out, the flat-earthers say the curvature is distortion from a fisheye lens.
.
The fact is, the view of Earth from the ISS requires you to look almost as wide as a man can see in his peripheral vision from right to left, and from up to down the planet fills more than most men can see up and down. IOW a natural view of Earth from ISS fills all of your field of vision.
.
Try standing close enough to a large object (like a car or a house or a very large vertical hillside) so that the object fills all of your field of view, then attempt to take a picture of it with your cell phone from there. You won't be able to take that picture from there. If you want to take that picture you'll find you have to BACK UP quite a long ways. If it's a car you'll have to back up about 20 feet. If it's a house that will increase to 50 feet, and a hillside could take 100 or even 500 feet depending on its size.
.
The only way you can get that shot from up close is to use optics like a wide-angle lens, which necessarily introduces distortion. But since they have such lenses on the ISS and use them, critics claim that  ALL  the photos taken from the ISS are therefore distorted.
.
Photographers often carry a variety of different focal length lenses when they go out taking pictures.

Strange on another thread about this subject, I was trying to inform Catholic that Our Lady during her design of the Miraculous Medal she held a globe, but the flats denied it.

Now I just found this link, and not only this one but many such links worded as such.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to take you in a different direction as in North or South poles.

Carry on

Well, a lot of the footage I've seen from high altitude balloons shows no curvature.

I can't rule out international space agency hoaxing.  I've seen videos where the interviews with astronauts were clearly faked.
