    Mostly just pieces together interviews with various professionals -- aviators, pilots, navigators (ships, submarines), engineers (aeronautical) and puts some pictures in front of it.

    I haven't had a chance to watch it for more than a few minutes.  Mark Sargeant has already interviewed most of these and has audios out there, so not sure if there's too much new here.  It's interesting to see them put together though.

    The entire Flat Earth Society along with people like Daniel Shenton and Mark Sargent are controlled opposition frauds who present themselves as legitimate Flat Earthers but in reality are propagandists, enemies of the plane truth, mixing lies, satire and false Flat Earth arguments into their material to deter neophytes from conducting further research.

    For example Daniel Shenton and the FES claim Earth is constantly rising up at 9.8 m/s to account for gravity. This is a ridiculous easily proven impossibility, however, as I explain in the following interview, but by making these easily refutable false flat Earth arguments, these agents muddy the waters and poison the well of legitimate flat Earth research.

    Mark Sargent recently made a few good flat Earth videos to ingratiate himself into the movement, but now he’s claiming the Moon, stars and planets are holographic projections, that seasons are caused by unknown processes underneath the Earth, that Admiral Byrd discovered “a semi-permanent barrier” in Antarctica and other non-sense.

    When I asked him to provide evidence for such outlandish claims (and to refute the abundant evidence to the contrary) he admits to having no evidence but continues to promote and propagate these false claims regardless.

    • Eric Dubay is not a reliable source for calling out Mark Sargent because he has been at enmity with him from the beginning, and from what I can tell, it's that Eric wants to corral the audience for himself and make a pagan view of flat earth a thing. One of your proofs is missing because the video is not available.

    If you listen to the video, you will hear Sargent make stupid, inept pseudo-defenses of FE. That has nothing to do with any supposed power struggle. I've read Dubay's book and viewed many of his videos and never has he brought up his beliefs. Sorry about the missing video; I just saw it recently. Wonder who took it down and why? Perhaps those attempting to support their shill?

    I never do.

    I had to insist and "preach in and out of season" about 10 years ago that the Crisis in the SSPX was about the Faith and doctrine -- not about Bishop Fellay.

    I also have to argue with Sedevacantists that it's not about this or that Pope -- it's about doctrine, the Faith, the truth.

    Focusing on the particular, on PERSONALITIES, is eminently feminine, while we men are supposed to be firstly rational. We are not nurturers and mothers; we are not supposed to have so much emotion, at least when compared to the strength of our REASON.

    It's about ideas, truth, and doctrine -- not personalities. Just remember that.

    We might have to add to the list of "annoying Baby Boomer traits", but the podcaster Bill Meara, of the Soldersmoke podcast, is *constantly* conflating the global corporation Amazon.com with "old man Bezos". Sounds like a sole proprietorship, a mom-and-pop shop, with Bezos living above the shop! Meara's whole opinion of Amazon.com vacillates based on what he thinks of the man Jeff Bezos. He became more favorable to Amazon.com after he learned that Bezos was a "space nerd", for example. And whenever he promotes his site ("click on my amazon links before you buy from Amazon!") he 100% of the time says that Bezos will personally give him a small percentage/cut. Not Amazon.com the corporation -- no, it's Bezos personally. Ridiculous! Are all Boomers so feminine, to be always focused on the personal? But don't get me started on Bill Meara. That deserves its own thread.

    • Let's not derail the video please.  I just mentioned Sargent in passing because he's interviewed a lot of the same people in this video.  Video itself is not by Sargent.

    Well, in the video Dubay just sounds upset that Sargent didn't credit him at all for bringing FE to his attention.  He's right that Sargent engages in a lot of speculation and tends not to differentiate between his speculation and what can be proven.  But I'm not sure what you mean about a pagan view of Flat Earth.  Dubay regularly speaks about a Creator and creation and intelligent design.  He's an infidel of course, doesn't believe in the Holy Trinity, etc. ... but I'm not sure I would characterize his views as pagan.  Dubay has never been at odds with the more "religious" FEs ... just Sargent for some reason.

    In any case, I regret mentioning Sargent, since he's not relevant to this particular video.  There's some great stuff in there.

    • Always funny to hear pilots, who supposedly got their IFR (Instrument Flight Rating), talk about flat earth.

    Because when you receive VOR signal beacons, one of the things that blocks it is the actual curvature of the earth.

    Dubay credits a "creator" but his idea of intelligent design is anti Catholic. Not that Sargent is all that much better, they differ in approach. Dubay has produced incredibly clear thinking videos, and he has a lot of great resources, but what he promotes isn't exactly what it appears.
