Someone should send an email to this David Weiss guy to showcase this proof and the stars one and not go talking about forests not existing...

That's the problem with many non-Catholic truth-bearers. Whether it's 9/11, anti-vax, or countless other natural truths, the main proponents pushing the truth (shouting it from the housetops) almost ALWAYS get something else wrong, they go too far, etc.

It's hard to find someone perfect.

Bishop Williamson understood this well. That's why he brought many "imperfect" men to the Seminary to speak on limited subjects. For example, Charles Coulombe is an expert at American History, and Bp. W used that expertise. We never heard anything bad from Charles Coulombe -- his position on Theosophy for example. None of us used Mr. Coulombe for a spiritual director or anything general. Simply a guest speaker/professor of American History, and boy did we learn a lot on that specific subject from him. He was a very knowledgeable guide for our East Coast trip. We visited all the important sites that made America what it is today. Coulombe wrote the great book series "Puritan's Progress" but his name isn't anywhere on the books -- for obvious reasons.

I can learn a lot about electronics or Ham Radio from a non-Catholic atheist who isn't in the state of grace. I just better not follow him for lifestyle advice, marriage advice, religious advice.

If you limit your books (or in-person attendance) to Traditional Catholics -- or even worse, Traditional Catholics in your PARTICULAR position or group -- you might as well embrace living like an animal in the woods. Because you will be the most uneducated of hicks -- actually even the hicks will know way more about how to live and survive (even if they have no book learning) compared to you.

My point? There's almost nothing available from "100% kosher" Traditional Catholics -- pardon the phrasing.

Same goes for getting your goods & services. If you only buy from Trad Catholics, you WILL be living like a bear in the woods, eating roots & berries, using the bathroom like a bear (maybe with the additional upgrade of using leaves). Because, again, there just aren't many Trad Catholic businesses for MOST things. We got chapel veils, Gregorian chant, and spiritual books covered -- and that's about it. Oh, and counter tops (Onyx in St. Mary's). But it's easier to list what you COULD get, than to list what you CAN'T get from Trad Catholics!

Thank you Matthew. That explains why I like Eric Dubay although he is not Catholic. Also explains why in 2024, I will vote for any non-Catholic over the purported Catholic Joe 0'Biden.

I agree. If the earth is flat, or rather a flat earth plane, then this truth will be realized by just about anyone of goodwill who wants to know the Truth. Catholics haven't really paid a lot of attention to this issue until recently, and it's only a small percentage of trads who accept a flat earth plane. We can learn from those who aren't Catholic, simply because they have taken the time to address the issue, even though they may not have a Catholic understanding.
