This could be built up further to show the fixed stars of the ecliptic that all go from East to West around the Earth also. When the Moon, which is much closer to Earth and of much less celestial velocity, is considered in comparison to them, it provides another proof that the Earth is not moving and that the Sun orbits the Earth.

The Moon is falling behind the signs much more immediately than the Sun and the Earth never "spins out" into the East from underneath the so-near Moon.

For the record, I have studied this interesting subject and am a fierce geocentrist.

So much for Gladius_Cacas' imagined perspicacity.

I don't see that any detraction or calumny has occurred in the OP on this thread. In fact, the OP seems carefully worded so as to avoid that. Can you be more specific on exactly what you mean by belligerence, detraction, and calumny?
I did not mention "on this thread".  I meant "in general".  Sorry for the confusion.

Here are examples of such "in general":

M79 made it crystal clear he has no interest whatsoever in the FE vs. GE debate (or FE at all).  Fair enough.  Conclusion: he is solidly GE.

I continue to claim there is something, likely related to his profession, that renders him so sadly and massively blind in these important matters

That you evade the issue even when directly questioned makes it plain to anyone with eyes to see that you are a Globe-Tard...and maybe even a Helio-centrist

Whatever you say, Rabbi...
https://www.cathinfo.com/members-only/ss-news/msg839624/#msg839624

Oddly, this is the sort of comment that makes me wonder "Is this POS a Rabbi?"
Why?  No Catholic would EVER act as if his adversarius, however hostile, was anything less than a fellow man and Catholic.
https://www.cathinfo.com/members-only/ss-news/msg839603/#msg839603

Please...remind everyone again how we know, if we know, that you are not a Rabbi/ex-rabbi/etc...
For anyone might know what you know precisely because he is or has been INSIDE the SS...
You have proved yourself to be Traddie how, exactly?

I will presume you are just another piece of Judaic trash seeking to infiltrate one of the last channels of truth.
https://www.cathinfo.com/members-only/ss-news/msg839594/#msg839594

Clearly you have NO EVIDENCE to support your "original" claim.  In the real world that makes you nothing but a liar.
https://www.cathinfo.com/members-only/ss-news/msg838223/#msg838223

I added the words in bold, as I often do when quoting my ignorant/sloppy adversarii, for quoting incomplete/incorrect statements is irksome.  I don't usually tell them I have done so, for their stupidity is what it is and my time is better spent addressing their meaningful errors, not their grammatical slovenliness. Your lazy, ignorant ass is welcome.
As for the statement, it is my sincere hope that you eventually grasp that I was neither addressing nor commenting about Mark.  So, kindly and forcefully shove it where the sun don't shine, so to speak, and know that I will, in my charity, forgive you in advance.

M79, professional child-trafficker/goat-herder that he is
https://www.cathinfo.com/members-only/ss-news/msg834595/#msg834595

You, although probably the best of the stupids, are clearly just one of the many.

IF M79 didn't want to reveal his profession for reasons he wasn't willing to share, THAT is something I could respect.  The horseshit about fire-bombing someone who is already and absolutely anonymous, and acting as if my "Catholicity" hangs in the balance can only be called what it is: histrionic nonsense predicated upon delusional grandeur.

Anyway, it is clear, as it is in the world at large, that I am trying to have a rational discussion with a bunch of feckin eejits.

Regardless of whether or not Matthew actually reexamines his policy and sees the proverbial light, you silent, mindless f*ckers are as likely to see the Restoration as those dumb-shits who gleefully took The Jab.

The Moon also does not rotate. It always has the same face facing the Earth as it goes from east to west around the Earth in about 24 hours and 54 minutes. NASA pretends that it rotates in perfect synchronicity with the Earth all the time, so you can't tell, as the Earth is spinning 1040 mph into the east along the equator. Rather I think it does not rotate and neither does the Earth.

Indeed.  I find it preposterous that the moon would "rotate" at PRECISELY (to the second) the same rate as it "revolves" around the earth.  If it were just a second per day off, the face of the moon would gradually change over the years and decades and centuries.  Plus, science claims that the moon gets a few inches per year farther away from the earth.  That would require it to increase its speed of rotation to keep this going.
