    I know the problem here is in comparing a small earthquake to actually ripping through space at 66,000 mph but, as no one has ever docuмented that, there's no footage to be had.

    • The Earth does not have to be flat to be non-moving. There is no necessity for a flat Earth. It's an expression that may come out of people's imaginations because they experience the stillness of a nonmoving Earth, which in their subconscoius minds they associate with flatness, like the flatness of calm still water.

    We all know that.  What's your point?  FEs also believe that the earth is stationary (I have not seen one who does not), and so they'll also often delve into that subject.

    Of course, it speaks to the overall credibility of NASA and the modern scientific establishment.  If they're lying about the earth being in motion, then why should we believe them that the earth is a globe?

    As you say, "The Earth does not have to be flat to be non-moving," however you also reference "the flatness of . . . water." Yes, water is flat, which argues against Globe Theory.
