The horizon is what it is, always infallibly flat. ;)

I've never observed the horizon to be anything other than flat. Extremely flat. No curvature. Not anywhere or at anytime have I seen a curve.

So yeah, it absolutely true that the horizon is always flat.

I've never observed Europe. Sooo.........
I guess I can claim with certainty that it doesn't exist. I can also claim that all the people in the world who claim to have seen Europe are in on a vast freemasonic conspiracy to cover up the fact that there is no Europe. The devil wants us to believe there is a Europe because...well...he has his reasons.
Thanks Meg and TiE. I never knew the flat Earth way of thinking could be so fun.

I think I understand what you're getting at AES. And it does make a certain amount of sense.

The difference that I see with a particular location such as Europe, and that of the horizon is that the horizon doesn't have a definite and specific location, as Europe does. The horizon is something we observe just about anywhere in the world, if we are outdoors, and able to see a horizon. I don't know that it can be described as an actual and definite fixed place, as Europe is.

In my opinion, I think the flat Earthers time is best spent when pursuing angles such as the gravity issue. Gravity vs. weight is a good thing to put a spotlight on if you're a flat Earther. TiE is making a mockery of this whole issue and Ladislaus is right to think he might be a shill. TiE is not exactly FE's best front-man.

I don't see TiE as a ''front man" for FE. And I don't think that he's mocking FE. I have never seen any curved horizon. Have you?

Does it matter what I say? If I say I haven't, the FE response is "because it's not there". If I say I have seen a curved horizon, the FE response is "that's because you have been brainwashed by freemasons to think you see a curved horizon". So no, it doesn't matter to Dogmatic Flatearthists what answer we give. Also, I am not about to base my belief in the shape of the world on what my tiny perspective is of what I see in front of me, especially given the enormous size of the Earth. This is not proof at all of FE.

You're right it's not proof - at least not absolute proof - for that sort of proof we go to scripture, tradition, and science.

The sort of proof that it does lend itself to is that we cannot personally see any curve whatsoever, though some of course have said that they can see a curve from planes.
But from our little personal perspective, which, granted, is limited, we can still say that it is infallible that we cannot see a curve.
