[Subject: ] I am Wondering if WE Should Start referring to Self-Professing Globe Earthers
You "
am Wondering if" something?
You call that a worthy
topic Subject? Or are you just on such a
delusional ego-trip that you believe the readers of CathInfo consider that to be
must-read news?
I am now Convinced That No Longtime Member of CathInfo Believes there to be any proof at all to support NASAS claim that the earth is a globe.
What's a "
NASAS"? The absence of an apostrophe, plus ending with an upper-case "S", make it plain to anyone who was not an early drop-out from elementary-school, that it
can't be the possessive of
NASA. Likewise, even an elementary-school graduate would know that it's
foolishly incorrect to capitalize 6 words in the
middle of a sentence that are not
proper nouns.
These people who claim the earth is a globe [....] barely even lift a pinky finger anymore in an attempt to give evidence to support their NASA worldview. The globe earth view is a dying breed.
Nonsense! It seems to me that quite a few "
Longtime Member[
s]
of CathInfo" have realized that trying to educate
Flat-Earthers is a
complete waste of time--not even worth the proverbial
pinky fingers. Altho' some of the Flatties have earned those emphatic signs featuring the
index finger.
Flat-Earthers refuse to look at phenomena that contradict their views, or that their cosmic model can't explain--including
phases of the Moon! [†] They insist that ordinary phenomena repeatedly observed over many years by rational CathInfo members can't possibly happen--including progressive hiding or unhiding of marine landforms, vessels, and other objects by an ocean horizon. It seems, from what the Flattists post on C.I., that
none of them have
ever dared risk sailing away from the comfort of coastal
terra firma.
And we must endure the
ban-worthy behavior of the ironically named ‘"Truth" is Eternal’, who routinely violates decades-established
netiquette, including repeatedly shovelling-in the same graphic images, unintroduced YouTube videos, and obnoxiously way-oversized text that he's already shovelled into what by now must be at least a few dozen other Flattie
topics on CathInfo.
Interaction with
Flat-Earthers has become reminiscent of the frustration repeatedly provided by cleaning up the disgusting digestive mess produced by house-pets that aren't house-broken, and have yet to show any hopeful signs of starting to use their assigned
litter-boxes.
So it's probably
much more realistic to conclude that increasing numbers of CathInfo members who understand that the
Earth is a
globe have simply chosen more productive or worthwhile things to do with our personal time than attempting to educate
delusional Flatties (a phrase that many C.I. members might criticize as needlessly redundant).

Oooh! oooh! Lunar eclipse tonight! Alas, its viewing is calculated to be prematurely terminated on the U.S. East Coast by sunrise on January 31.
