  • .
There you go again, not explaining a solar eclipse.
    .
Flat-earthers can't explain a solar eclipse but they say they can -- and then they don't, so they're liars.
    .
The moon and sun which they claim are the same distance away from the earth would smash into each other during eclipse.
    .
Or the moon would go behind the sun sometimes and it never does.
    .
The globe earth is very simple on the other hand, as the diagrams provided show.
    .
Watch the sun cross the sky (for once) and watch the moon.
    .
The sun crosses the sky faster than the moon does, which is why the eclipse moves from west to east.
    .
Solar eclipses ALWAYS move from west to east because the sun ALWAYS crosses the sky faster than the moon.
    .
No flat-earth diagram shows how the eclipse could take place and you know it, so you're just lying, as usual.
    .
The times and dates of future eclipses have already been announced, just as they were for this past one.
    .
But flat-earthers cannot predict eclipses, and they tried to deny this last one but that didn't work, did it.
    .
No, it didn't work. Never has, never will.
    .
Go ahead and make a fool of yourself, you don't need any help.
    .
Anyone can predict eclipses, they are dependant on the cycles of the sun and moon and flat earthers predicted them long ago. The fact is, you can't answer how the eclipse moved from west to east on a ball earth. When you do that, we'll talk. No videos, just a description please.

    .
You ought to make an appointment with a psychologist because you have a mental defect.
    .
Every one of the eclipses mapped in the past or the future are entirely possible on a globe and have been explained as such.
    .
The fact of the curvature of the earth is ESSENTIAL for the eclipses to have the paths they do.

    .
Your picture quotes two diagrams each of which were made to illustrate a different lesson.
    .
The top image neglects to show how every part of the sun's aspect emanates light in all directions.
    .
That is done to simplify the lesson that the sun's rays are parallel -- inasmuch as the sun is shining from one direction.
    .
We don't have sunlight shining from 90 degrees to the right or left or up or down, for example.
    .
The bottom picture shows how the various parts of the sun shine toward the moon at different angles.
    .
They are angles so very close to zero that to keep the message above simple they are not considered.
    .
But during an eclipse, even very small angles come into play, so much so that most of the small angles are not even being mentioned!!

Why are you kidding? The spacing is a little off, perhaps that's a bad translation.

You're not a drug addict, are you? If you did some hallucinogen and then went on a forum, I could totally see that.

  • Stop denying Catholic teaching and promoting heresy.
What traditional Catholic priest or bishop clearly asserts that flat-earth is dogma?

The word 'literally' is abused by teenyboppers with a poor command of English, but here it applies:

There is literally nothing reputable that justifies a flat earth. Nothing. Nothing that puts the opinion of some 1997 HTML website to centuries of defined Catholic dogma. If flat earth were defined, infallible Catholic dogma, it would've been in a Papal Bull written in 1400, not some layman in America's unfounded opinion in AD 2017.

If flat earth were defined Catholic dogma, then truth would lie in the hands of several laymen hiding behind a computer with useless opinions, not solemnly defined Catholic doctrine.

    Thank you, that I understood.

It is a case of eisegesis, and little to nothing more.
