Title: God Made the Earth as Flat as a Pancake
Post by: Hewkonian on July 08, 2024, 11:36:44 AM
Just remember, folks, when someone says otherwise and that the Earth is a globe, ask them if engineers take into account the curvature of the Earth when they are building miles and miles of railway track or bridges, etc. Remember, if what the "Jew science" says is true, this means that for every mile of distance, the drop due to curvature is about 8 inches per mile squared.

The short answer is engineers don't because curvature, much like the globe Earth, is fake and gαy.

Also, hi everyone, I am new to the forums. Have a good day!

Not only do engineers disregard the alleged curvature, but there are dozens of NASA docuмents indicating that their conclusions are based on the assumption of a "flat, non-rotating earth".  I don't think I'd want to fly in some "spacecraft" based on some assumption that this is true.  Why?  Is that math too hard for them to work out when taking into account rotation and curvature?  In that case, I'd doubly not want to fly in some craft these mathematically-challenged individuals worked out.

I remember for close to 15 years when "MuH SciEnCe" and the ball Earth were my gods. I remember how I absolutely knew nothing but talking points from NASA and nihilistic atheist skeptics online. I was empty and void on the inside, desperately wanting God not to exist, so I clung to NASA and the Bill Nyes of the world to justify and solidify my sick nihilism.

Everything is so compartmentalized (no different than a Coca-Cola production facility), and everyone is zapped of grace from rejecting Our Lord and the Catholic faith. Denying any natural law becomes robust. Buoyancy and density sound ridiculous to your atheistic mind, while an occult hidden force, "gravity," invented by an alchemist in 1666 when a fruit of knowledge hit him on the head, is accepted without question.

The curve is so slight, that it really doesn't matter compared to variations in the shape of the landscape. There are plenty of variables more significant than the supposed curve or rotation of the earth, and using earth as a reference point can be simplified by assuming it is motionless as far as the particular system allows.

"Hewkonian" is a red flag to me, as in not someone I'd readily believe.

Makes sense to me. But then I believe that the earth is flat. Though the entire system is likely a globe, with the firmament above included.

The curve is so slight, that it really doesn't matter compared to variations in the shape of the landscape.

Absolutely correct, and that's why the FEs conduct experiments mostly over water, even though there's some variation there due to water turbulence, waves, etc.  This observation militates more against globe earth than flat, since if it so happens that you cannot see something as far as you think you should, that is one possible explanation (in addition to the atmosphere).  FEs take the time to get the elevations (in relation to sea level) of their target and the elevation of the point of observation to correctly work the math.

As I said, one might well argue that the earth is a sphere that's much larger than we've been told, but that discredits modern science almost as much as FE would.

In any case, many of the pictures that contradict globe earth math were taken by professional photographers attempting to set long distance photography records without having a thought about the implications vis-a-vis this particular debate.

Really the only thing that remains ... other than that the earth is in fact flat ... is the increasingly-preposterous claim of "refraction" or else positing a globe that's much larger than what we're told.

Well, to me it sounds as though he may be a Traditional Catholic, as I inferred that the name derives from Fr. Hewko ... whereas a couple of the pro-globe posters here were actually exposed as Anti-Trad trolls, though I could be wrong in terms of my inference about the derivation of the name.  There was (is?) a group called "Flat Earth Trads" who had sympathized with the Resistance.

St. Giles,

I hope to address your concerns with understanding and charity. Based on your writing, I believe you are a woman, so I will try my best to lead you in the right direction. I will definitely be sharing many facts that debunk the Sun-Worship model. The one I included should be enough to abandon"MuH curvature" argument. We can also discuss some studies I have conducted using high-powered zoom cameras shortly.

And yes, I am a strong supporter of Father Hewko.

Just saw this one a couple of days ago.  Easily repeatable and producing the same results ad infinitum.  I don't care if there's a curve, just show me where it is.  One question I have for globers is why do the Earth Curvature Calculators on-line maintain a 100% failure rate?

You're bringing not-Professor Dave into this? He's a total clown. If you start using too many multisyllable words, especially ones he doesn't understand and/or you start carefully explaining things coherently -- his inevitable reaction will be "WORD SALAD!"

I saw this Dave clown debate Austin Witsit (Witsit Gets It) and he was a complete tool. He constantly interrupted Austin because he had nothing. If you took a drink every time Dave used a logical fallacy, you would have died of blood alcohol poisoning 30 minutes into the debate.

"Word salad" incidentally is a bunch of random words incoherently strung together, usually associate with schizophrenia. Like "cryptic chicken doorknob revolving discount" like a random salad of words.

Sorry, Dave, but just because you don't follow or understand science doesn't make it word salad.

I went through one of Not-A-Professor-But-First-Year-Grad-School-Dropout Dave's debunking sessions where he attempted to debunk what he gave as the "Top 10 FE Proofs" (some of which were strawmen).  I gave him a score of, if I recall, 2.5, where he had about 2.5 out of 10 legitimate arguments, where 3 were half points where he got it half right.  Rest were nothing but fallacies and strawmen.

Globers throw a ton of chaff out there as distraction, but none of them have refuted the actual falsifying evidence in favor of FE, namely, that the evidence shows that things can be seen "too far" vs. the math for the purported globe.  There hasn't been a single refutation of this.  Occasionally one of them throws out the word "refraction," but even that's being seen less commonly now since it's been debunked as complete hogwash.  So their only hope is to create distractions.

Sorry, Dave, but just because you don't follow or understand science doesn't make it word salad.

There was an actual professor, Robitaille, who taught at Ohio State at one point, whom Dave attacked calling him a moron and every other name in the book ... because he didn't believe the prevailing explanation for what the sun actually is (since it was just made up in the 19th century), and he has plenty of proof for his views.  This mild-mannered professor made a video answering Dave's claims, making mincemeat out of his, exposing him as a pathetic ignoramus ... without raising his voice or using a single insult.

At LEAST TWO classic "begging the question" fallacies in the first few paragraphs in the first link. Assuming gravity, assuming outer space vacuum as a backdrop for the universe, and assuming stars are spheres (of burning gas no doubt). Stopped reading.

Humans first theorized the Earth may be spherical in ancient Greece thousands of years ago, according to the American Physical Society (https://www.aps.org/publications/apsnews/200606/history.cfm). Since then, scientists have discovered an abundance of evidence to confirm this is the case – including seeing Earth itself from space (https://www.space.com/20759-earth-from-space-nasa-photos.html).

1. The first "globe" model of the earth was made around 1500. So no, humans didn't "know darn well the earth is a globe for thousands of years". But this lie persists.
2. There is no "abundance of evidence". In fact, there is zero evidence the earth moves, and zero evidence the earth is a globe.
3. There are no photos from space. All the globe photos you find in Google turn out to be PHOTOSHOPPED, COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGES. Cartoons. The only one they claim is a real photo is the 1972 "Blue Marble", but we all know the Apollo program was a hoax, from other evidence.
4. I stopped reading this article, too, at this point. Once I hit that many logical fallacies I know I'm wasting my time with low-quality propaganda slop.
5. USA Today? Really? You don't think that's owned by the J--s, used exclusively as a propaganda outlet for the dumb goyim?

See, the "dumb Flat Earthers" know their stuff, and it's the Globers who have been brainwashed with various propaganda talking points. They haven't even tried to test them, verify them, or even think about any of these "facts" they take for granted. I'm positive that a good chunk of modern day humans don't even understand perspective. They claim we could see forever physically -- only the curvature of the earth prevents this. And they call US ignorant! That's rich.

Let's put “Ancient Greece” into some perspective.

1.  The Ancient Greeks were Uber-pagan, who worshipped all manner of false gods.
2.  Their main god was the sun, which is the reason they “invented” heliocentrism.
3.  Their civilization was full of debauchery, pedophilia and other immorality.
4.  The “hellenization” of the ancient world was founded upon freemasonic principles (which tried to create a global culture) and this almost destroyed the Israelite religion.  (See Scripture: Macabees 2).

Summary:  The Greeks didn’t just “come up” with this theory due to science and proofs.  No, this theory of heliocentric sun-worship goes back to the Tower of Babel.  It is demonic and Freemasonic.

Sun worship is meant to replace God's creation, where MAN is the center of creation, and ultimately CHRIST is the central figure, as the Redeemer of man.  While sun worship seeks to worship Lucifer as “the (false) light” of the world and seeks to dethrone Christ/man as the center/purpose of all creation.

Final Summary:  a rich, pagan, perverse and powerful culture, seeks to unite all cultures and faiths into one global culture and one central religion, teaches heliocentrism in an attempt to downplay Gods true Religion and destroy its belief system.

Sound familiar?  It happened post-Flood at the Tower of Babel.  It happened again, a few hundred years before Christ, during the Greeks day. And it’s happening again today.  The magic number 3.

The Pythagorean theorem was formulated in ancient Greece at about 450 BC and Euclidean Geometry at about 300 BC. These works stand in spite of the immorality of the society.
American society is currently "full of debauchery, pedophilia and other immorality" , and i heard that this is even true outside of America and in some churches.

That's fine, but neither of these prove heliocentrism.  These are basic math formulas.

There is an argument based on the Foucault pendulum.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foucault_pendulum

A pendulum shows that something is in motion but it doesn't necessarily show that the earth is in motion.  It can also be argued that the heavens rotate like clockwork around a fixed earth.

The geocentric model is possible from a mathematical viewpoint, and from Scripture passages such as Ecclesiastes 1:5, which says, "The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises" ,but with the geocentric model  it is difficult (if not impossible) to account for the physical  forces involved in the observable retrograde motion of the planets or the epicycles. The heliocentric system nicely explains the physical forces involved. Many religious scholars today interpret biblical passages supporting geocentrism  in light of their historical context and the knowledge available at the time they were written, rather than as definitive statements about the physical structure of the universe. They might say that these passages are written in the language and understanding of their time and that the Bible is not a scientific textbook.

Supposing a flat earth, does this rotation of the heavens occur parallel to the planar earth or at some angle to it? Or is the angle of motion moving somehow?

Just because science can't explain it (and admittedly, modern science doesn't want to, since their religion is based on helio/sun worship), doesn't mean there's not an explanation.

History shows us that countless times science has been wrong.  Less than a 100 years ago, science thought atoms were the smallest particles.  Not anymore.  The more we dig, the more we find.  Mankind can never dig enough to discover God's magnificence.

But let's be honest...if modern science wasn't so atheistic and pagan (and satanic), then the geocentric model could've been proven (but they don't want to).

Why is modern science ok with geocentrism but scared of FE?  This makes no sense, unless FE attacks their "religion" (i.e. aliens, evolution, etc) and supports Scripture/catholic theology.
