    The poster, An Even Seven, posted a quote he attributed to Pope Leo XIII, as a reason not to bbelieve the Bible regarding flat earth. 


    Problem is, the quote he posted is actually from a book, "Enchridion Symbolorum" written in 1854 by a German priest, Fr. Henri Denzinger. 

    The modern-day version of Denzinger's book was REVISED and REPUBLISHED in 1954 by none other than arch-heretic and Vatican II architect, Fr. KARL RAHNER.

    RATZINGER'S right-hand man,  his fellow German BFF wreckovator of the Church.

    Rahner made some questionable choices about what to include (and what to exclude), but no one has ever caught Rahner falsifying a source.  He may be a modernist heretic, but he's shown himself to be honest about the historical sources (and just chooses to reject the ones he doesn't like).

    Do you have any evidence to demonstrate that Rahner falsified the words of Leo XIII ... or is this yet another cheap ad hominem?

    Denzinger keeps getting new editions so they can add new material.  Is there any evidence that they changed the old material?

    I said that he was honest about the historical evidence ... not necessarily his use of it.  Rahner did not write the Enchiridion but merely compiled historical sources.  No one has ever discovered any alterations to the original sources in the Enchiridion.  So unless you have evidence that Rahner altered the words of Leo XIII, go away, you obnoxious little twit.

    Unfortunately, people like you disgrace everything you stand for.  You think that you're doing a service to the flat earth cause, but you're doing quite the opposite.  You make it look idiotic with your irrational and emotional posting ... like it's only held by a few crackpots such as yourself.  Similarly, you bring disrepute on Traditional Catholicism.
