Japanese Himawari 8 weather satellite captures the eruption, shockwave and dispersion of the Honga Tonga volcano in the south pacific. This matches the observed, verifiable ground truth we have of the eruption.

Two things I want to know:
How far is Alaska from Hunga-tonga on the FE model? (It looks similarly distanced compared to RE but I actually don't know the scale for the commonly used map)
Which countries actually heard the noise?
Based on location, you would expect that Australia would have heard the boom, but I can't find any info on this. Interesting event to think about.

Here is why the ѕуηαgσgυє of Satan caused a devastating tsunami against Japan. This was a huge threat to the Jєωs continuing to be the source of the world's reserve currency, because international oil is priced in dollars (the petrodollar). The La Palma eruption in the Atlantic, against the expectations of some CI members, didn't cause any tsunami wave. The Honga Tonga eruption caused a tsunami wave and some amount of destruction in several countries all around the Pacific.
