Someone wrote to me, asking me to forbid discussion of Flat Earth on CathInfo.
My response:
I see no reason to forbid discussion of the flat earth vs. globe earth debate.
I haven't been to space personally, so how can I say I know for sure which is the truth?
It's better -- and wiser -- to question everything, rather than take things on human faith. Unless we're talking about matters of Faith, which the Holy Catholic Church teaches.
I'll take God's word for it. Like the witty saying goes: "In God we Trust. All others pay cash."
I question everything: government, the banking system, the h0Ɩ0cαųst, the U.N., vaccines, anything the Liberals take as gospel, Big Pharma, Agri-business, and countless other things. We've been lied to in so many ways, who's to say where the lies end?
With that having been said, the outnumbered proponents of the "flat earth" side of the debate will PLEASE REFRAIN from calling their opponents non-Catholic.
But on the other hand, those on the "globe earth" side, with the Modern World behind them comfortably, will please refrain from calling the other side names. Why are you so upset anyhow? Do you realize how bad it looks when you get all bent out of shape about it? Practically the whole Western world is behind you. Does it bother you when they utter such compelling arguments or something?
CathInfo is a haven for truth seekers on all topics. Everything not already defined by the Church is fair game for discussion here.
I'm not going to ban discussion of a topic, like Fisheaters did with "cօռspιʀαcιҽs" and "sedevacantism" in 2006. Guess what? That's why I started CathInfo in the first place. (Fun fact: I was still a member of Fisheaters for the first 9 months of CathInfo's existence. I only stopped going to FE when I was banned for stepping on the emotions/toes of a female member. And we all know what a feminist matriarchy FE is.)
P.S. The Catholic Church hasn't anathematized either side. So neither will any of you!
