  • Just to clarify, when they allegedly ate this protestant snack, 20th July 1969, the Novus Ordo Missae had not yet come into effect. (30th November 1969).
    I did not know that

"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

Incredible how the coordinated attack, religious, scientific and moral collapse came together in such a short amount of time, like a chain reaction explosion.

  • There was also that Eagles Song ... "Hotel California" that has creepy imagery that seems very occult, as if describing some occult ceremonies, perhaps a Black Mass.  One of the lyrics there:
    Quote
So I called up the Captain
    "Please bring me my wine"
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here
    Since 1969"

Father Libietis SSPX one time suggested that this referred to the invalidation of the Mass, particularly due to the consecration of the wine by way of the "for you and for all".

Hotel California ... repeating "Hotel" ... sounds like "Hell", as if it refers to him going to "Hell" or at lest Hell on earth, like an occult Black Mass ritual.  Hotel = HotHell?

    full lyrics here
    Quote
    On a dark desert highway
    Cool wind in my hair
    Warm smell of colitas
    Rising up through the air
    Up ahead in the distance
    I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway
    I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
"This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she lit up a candle

And she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor
I thought I heard them say

    Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
    Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (any time of year)
    You can find it here

    Her mind is Tiffany-twisted
    She got the Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys
    That she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
    Sweet summer sweat
    Some dance to remember
    Some dance to forget

So I called up the Captain
    "Please bring me my wine"
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here
    Since 1969"

And still those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
    Just to hear them say

    Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
    Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
    Bring your alibis

    Mirrors on the ceiling
    The pink champagne on ice
And she said, 'We are all just prisoners here
    Of our own device"

    And in the master's chambers
    They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
    Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man
    "We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like
    But you can never leave"

To me this sounded like he fell asleep behind the wheel on the highway, died, and went to Hell.

That figure certainly has the pointy LaVeyan eyebrows and features, that's for sure.

  • During their induction into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame --
    Quote
“I wanna thank [Jєω] Irving Azoff, without whom we wouldn’t be here today,” he told the audience back then. Bandmate Glenn Frey then deadpanned: “Well, we might still be here, but we wouldn’t have made as much money.” Henley replied: “Right. As I’ve said before, he may be Satan – but he’s our Satan.”

The other theory, which is cryptic and fairly ridiculous, gives a satanic interpretation of “Hotel California”, an idea that came about during the Satanic Panic of the 1980s. The theory goes that when the founder of the Church of Satan, Anton LaVey opened his church in San Francisco, the Eagles were lured in, and the lyrics are about their deal with the devil.

Some say that the band’s path after releasing the song, to fame and excess, mirrors the themes of excess in America that are presented in the song, until tensions between the band members forced their breakup in 1980. Perhaps this was part of the deal, that they would achieve their goals but they were doomed to fall victim to the dark undercurrent.

As the lyrics suggest, “This could be heaven or this could be hell.”

Supporters of the Eagles satanism theory suggest that you can find proof of this satanic meaning in two ways. The first being on the inner jacket of the Hotel California album, there is a photo taken at a party in a hotel lobby. On the upper balcony is a dark figure, and if you zoom in on it, the face of Anton LeVey is revealed standing in the window.

It is also said that therehere are cryptic messages that you can only hear if you play the song backwards. This was said to be their way of masking the satantic intent of the song, with phrasses suggested to be heard including, “Yeah, Satan hears this, He had me believe in him”, “Yeah Satan, He organized his own religion”.

Whether or not you believe in this, you can listen to “Hotel California” backwards here.

  • Yea, Hotel California is one of the worst (of the more popular songs). I didn't know about LaVey on the cover.  Kind of like the photo on Sergeant Pepper with all it's meanings. Although it may be getting off subject, the word broadcasting (music) means to cast spells broadly. And it appears it works rather well.  David Crosby of Crosby Stills and Nash admitted singers and producers always put spells on the "master" tape before broadcasting so the record would sell better. Seems like the numbers used in this song represent the curvature of the globe (square the number (2), multiply that by 8(0), and divide by 12.) There' a reference to the southern cross, one of the "proofs" earth is a globe, with an admission about some big lie while sailing around the world (another so-called proof of the globe) along with satanic references to having fallen, spirits using people, understanding the message, running from truth, how easy the lie was and how music is a means.  Maybe we should do a thread on this subject.

    Southern Cross

Got out of town on a boat, goin' to Southern islands
Sailing a reach before a followin' sea
She was makin' for the trades on the outside
And the downhill run to Papeete

Off the wind, on this heading lie the Marquesas
We've got 80 feet of the waterline nicely making way
In a noisy bar in Avalon, I tried to call you
But on the midnight (12) watch, I realized why twice you ran away
    Think about
Think about how many times I have fallen
Spirits are using me, larger voices callin'
What Heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten
(Around the world) I have been around the world
(Lookin') Lookin' for that woman, girl
(Who knows, she knows) Who knows love can endure
    And you know it will
When you see the Southern Cross for the first time
You understand now why you came this way
'Cause the truth you might be runnin' from is so small
But it's as big as the promise
The promise of a comin' day
So I'm sailing for tomorrow, my dreams are a-dyin'
And my love is an anchor tied to you
    Tied with a silver chain
I have my ship and all her flags are a-flyin'
She is all that I have left and music is her name
    Think about
Think about how many times I have fallen
Spirits are using me, larger voices callin'
What Heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten
(I've been around the world) I have been around the world
(Lookin') Lookin' for that woman girl
    Who knows love can endure
    And you know it will
And you know it will (Yes)
So we cheated and we lied and we tested
And we never failed to fail
It was the easiest thing to do
    You will survive being bested
Somebody fine will come along, make me forget about loving you
    In the Southern Cross
