It might get cancelled but Will Duffy, the pastor organizing it, seems genuine and is using his own cash to fund at least two of the participants (one glober and one flat earther). The question then becomes 'what happens if the sun is visible for 24 hours?' What makes it interesting is that both camps agree it would prove/support the globe model. It'll be interesting to see it play out.
