Pagan canard. The "science" of pagans has nothing on Scripture and the Fathers of the Church. Parallax is a non-issue unless one first buys false science. Only then the one who buries himself in pagan science will find every reason to debunk creation without consideration for God's truth.

If "Parallax is a non-issue" then why did your demigod choose
Parallax for his pen name? -- Was he just retarded?'

This book by your poster-boy-dimwit is quite useful. We'll get tons of mileage out of it.
The thing is chock full of doublespeak and conundrums, self-contradictory and erroneous blatherings.
It's objectively deplorable.
Although, I will admit the sentence structure is edifying. But that was the norm at the time, you know.
If nothing else, proper grammar, spelling and meet attention to vocabulary makes it easier for someone like me to read it.
Even so, there isn't a single page so far that doesn't have something blatantly wrong with it!
Especially in light of developments that have been made since its publishing date!
This is going to be easier than shooting fish in a barrel.

Now it turns out that Samuel Robotham was principally attempting to drum up an industry in which he could sell his wonder drugs and snake-oil products, so this book was one step in getting people to think they've been lied to, and he has their answers for them!
He didn't believe in flat-earhism himself!
He just saw it as a means by which he could con the public and make a fast buck! Amazing...

Step right up, Ladies and Gentlemen! See for yourself the marvelous instant effects of the Robotham Cure-All Elexir!!!

Here is an example of a college graduate, no less (of course he could be a liar and a fake), who read and admired Robotham.
He's obviously a liar when he says he's "a pilot" so maybe he's never been to college, either.
He sure doesn't show it in his writing.
.
He's answering a challenge over whether the flat-earth movement somehow started on the Internet.

Do some research. The entire world believed is [it] and a large percentage still does. I am not of either clan. I know that the earth doesn’t curve at 8” per mile squared bcuz I’m a pilot and I don’t keep pushing the nose down every 2 minutes so I don’t end up in space. Also was in the navy which uses line of sight weaponry and thermal. At well more than a hundred miles out. If you can do the math that puts he [the] target hundreds and hundreds of feet under the water. So people using real life applications in real life jobs noted this for years. Decades even. It’s a solid thing among pilots. Ask a pilot if they keep pushing th nose down every two minutes to keep from ending up in space and they will look at you like your insane and laugh. Do the math. They ( nasa) says that the earth curves away from you at 8” per mile squared. So go to the top of the tallest building in your city and or get a drone. Take it up as high as you can. Look at the buildings to the left and right and note that they do NOT appear to be tilting away from you on both sides. You would be able to see that DRASTICALLY at 8” per mile squared. I’m not a flat earther but I’ve been in too many REAL life situations that the numbers do NOT add up to what nasa says and that may be what makes people with real jobs and experience take a side. I don’t think there are only two sides to anything. Black. White. Up and down. There is always space in between. Same as this. My questions are more along the lines of why are they lying about the size ? It may be round but it’s huge. 8” per mile squared would allow you to see the earth curve on any beach with a decent opening to the ocean. U would see it drop on both sides. By A LOT. You have never seen the curve with your own eyes. This is a fact. You have been SHOWN a curve. Try to see it. Do it yourself. Go to the top of a building. Each city I have been to has one tall enough to see for a good distance. And look at the buildings. Take pics if u don’t have a fish eye lens. And then post them. I have one of the best cameras at the moment for zoom. The Nikon coolpix p900. I can see planets with it. Although they look like flashing star bursts. I can also see from my home to a city that’s 50 plus miles away. ( the manual tells you zoom is from 2.6 feet to INFINITY) just so you know. It’s power beyond comprehension. Trust me. Try it. There aren’t only two options. The other is that someone fkd up or is lying for some reason. Means nothing that it’s flat or round unless we get into unraveling physics which I can see being a lot of work and why they also wouldn’t ever want to do it. This is far from over. In fact it’s just gettin warm. Trust me!

This 8 inches per mile squared he keeps saying (even says it's from nasa) is directly out of Robotham's book, and is not promoted or recognized by NASA or any other corporate entity. It's just a favorite (and inaccurate) canard of the flat-earthers.
