  • Looks interesting, and I'll be sure to have a look.

I used to concede the Glober argument that the Church Fathers, for the most part, outside the "Antiochen" school, considered the earth to be a globe / ball, so I was reading through the section in Dr. Sungenis' book against FE about the Church Fathers, and I came to the opposite conclusion.  I can demonstrate where the Church Fathers held the exact opposite and Sungenis and others were reading the NASA ball into a description of a sphere that includes the firmament.  In one case Sungenis interprests "circle" as meaning sphere, that's how desperate they are, and in another the Father describes the earth as being a sphere ... with a plane creating a cross-section through it.  Hmmm.  What does that sound like other than a reference to the spherical enclosure of the world, i.e the firmament, with a slice through it that ends up being circular, and is a plane on which we live and walk.

  • Sad update. Amazon have pulled the book over some silly administrative issue.
Hopefully we will have it back up in a few weeks.

  • From the author:

"Technical problems addressed. The first and only Catholic flat earth book is available on Amazon. For two thousand years Christendom exposed the truth about the Pythagorean doctrine of the globe yet the truth remains buried under the propaganda of scientism. This book is fully sourced with quotes from Scripture, the Fathers of the Church, popes and saints who speak with such clarity, Catholics can immediately recognize how and why worldly powers recreated the world with a false image in order to deny God and destroy Christianity. This book needs to be shared with good priests and bishops.

"Oh, Looky what the Goys are doing now... they got a new book"

"What is it....?  Holey schmoley... they're debunking our globology doctrine with their own unredacted scriptures!!!"

"This is too much!  Those uppity goyim are putting out anti-propaganda books!"  This is anti-Semitic."

"Yeah, that's right. Who published it?
Shut them down... shut Amazon down!

"Are you crazy... you can't do that, Amazon is a major contributor to the Sanhedrin. Besides, if you shut it down, the Goys will just get more publicity for the book."

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • I do disagree a bit with your sub-title.  I'd say that the earth is not a BALL.

I actually believe that the earth is a globe, like a snow globe.

I think that actually helps to expose perhaps THE major sleight of hand deployed by the Ballers, namely where every time one sees a reference to a sphere in a Church Father ... they claim it means NASA's ball.

As mentioned, I used to concede that most (not all, but most) Church Fathers believed in the ball earth, but then when I actually read the Patristic references cited by, say, Dr. Sungenis, it became obvious to me that it's NOT what they were talking about, but were clearly referring to the spherical shape of the enclosing firmament.

It's quite humorous that Dr. Sungenis uses Da Vinci's version of this Salvator Mundi pose, but if you look at Da Vinci's ... it actually show the same thing, where the top part of the ball actually has stars and blue (the sky), and only the bottom has the earth tones (the land).

That completely depicts Sungenis' own bias, where he sees THIS picture blow as proof for the NASA ball earth.  :laugh1:

See those 3 white spots in the blue part of the "globe"?  Yeah, most art critics say those are stars, and I think most agree on the constellation they represent (I forgt which one), but THIS is what Dr. Sungenis puts on the cover of his Flat Earth book as representing belief in the globe.

And this epic fail represents the same thing going on in the book, where every quote he sees that refers to a "sphere" he instantly reads into it the NASA ball.

The three distinct spots on the glass orb in Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi are widely believed to represent the constellation Leo. Others argue they represent stars in the Southern Cross (Crux), which gained attention through explorers' accounts in the early 16th century.
    • Leo Theory: The three white dots are thought to represent the key stars in Leo—Regulus, Denebola, and Leonis—connecting to the lion's gaze.
    • Southern Cross Theory: Some research suggests these dots depict the constellation Crux, potentially referencing discoveries mentioned in Amerigo Vespucci’s letters.
    • Symbolism: The orb itself represents the celestial sphere of the heavens.
These interpretations add to the debated, mysterious nature of the orb in the painting.

So, if there are stars in the TOP of this globe Christ is holding, Dr. Sungenis ... how does this depict NASA's ball?  Last time I checked the Northern Hemisphere of the NASA ball did not have stars within it.

It's quite comical that the VERY COVER of this book is an epic fail. :laugh1: :laugh2:
