I do disagree a bit with your sub-title. I'd say that the earth is not a BALL.
I actually believe that the earth is a globe, like a snow globe.
I think that actually helps to expose perhaps THE major sleight of hand deployed by the Ballers, namely where every time one sees a reference to a sphere in a Church Father ... they claim it means NASA's ball.
As mentioned, I used to concede that most (not all, but most) Church Fathers believed in the ball earth, but then when I actually read the Patristic references cited by, say, Dr. Sungenis, it became obvious to me that it's NOT what they were talking about, but were clearly referring to the spherical shape of the enclosing firmament.

It's quite humorous that Dr. Sungenis uses Da Vinci's version of this
Salvator Mundi pose, but if you look at Da Vinci's ... it actually show the same thing, where the top part of the ball actually has stars and blue (the sky), and only the bottom has the earth tones (the land).
That completely depicts Sungenis' own bias, where he sees THIS picture blow as proof for the NASA ball earth.

See those 3 white spots in the blue part of the "globe"? Yeah, most art critics say those are stars, and I think most agree on the constellation they represent (I forgt which one), but THIS is what Dr. Sungenis puts on the cover of his Flat Earth book as representing belief in the globe.
And this epic fail represents the same thing going on in the book, where every quote he sees that refers to a "sphere" he instantly reads into it the NASA ball.
