The Flat Earth International Conference is an educational endeavor composed of individuals and organizations uniting around the common purpose of the true scientific inquiry of the created earth.

Most people today subscribe to the espoused heliocentric globe model explanation of our cosmology, which contends that:

-- The earth spins at 1,040 miles per hour while traveling around the sun at 66,000 miles per hour;

-- meanwhile, the entire solar system moves through the milky way galaxy at 490,000 miles per hour

-- as the milky way galaxy darts through infinite space at over 1 million miles per hour

However, every experiment ever conducted to prove even the simple spin of the earth has failed!

“People still believe the earth is flat!?” We maintain that the earth is flat and stationary, but we weren’t born into this way of thinking. Like you, we grew up believing in a heliocentric globe-earth model. After extensive experimentation, analysis, and research, we have come to know that the truth of our cosmology is not that which we’ve been told.

“Will I fall off of the edge?” No. Though there are varying models within the flat earth community, the most commonly depicted model of our earth is that of a circular disk with Antarctica serving as an ice wall barrier. Example:

“Is NASA lying?” We believe that government space agencies are taking creative liberties with your tax dollars and producing misleading materials. Did you know that all images of the earth which show a curved horizon or a spherical shape are:

Computer Generated Images (CGI, proven with photoshop programs and analysis),

Captured via fisheye/wide-angle curved lens (producing a curved appearance)*

Notice the fact that in their image depicting their "flat" earth, the light projected by the sun onto earth does not cast a pattern that has any similarity whatsoever with the observed pattern which defines our international time zones (time zones are not circular).

I honestly think this is the most important thing that flat earthers need to learn. If they were to understand this one thing, it would be so much harder for them to believe what they do. Suddenly the amount of things they have to claim are CGI skyrockets (pun intended) to include videos created by other flat earthers.

Nice demo.

I think gopro and adobe's software both include lens de-warping. (Ideally you should have the intrinsic camera parameters of the actual camera to do the correction, but the difference between the same model go pros are probably negligible).

+A Blatt The GoPro software allows you to adjust for the lens distortion when rendering videos.. And yes, it's best to have the post-production filter which is specifically designed for the camera.

+Sly Sparkane Good video. The thing is though, all camera's have different distortions. The flat earthers will claim it's inconclusive anyway unless it's filmed from a few 1000 miles altitude without fish-eye or wide angle lens.

Simple and to the point with those all important visual aids that flat earthers need because they don't like words:P
I'm not even going to bother looking at the Pro Pagan video as I already know what its going to be. Just him laughing, calling you an idiot, showing the images under the center, claiming they are proof for a flat earth, and then insulting all people who believe in the globe, followed by more laughing as he displays his own ignorance and completely misses the entire message in this video.

What he has done is fascinating, he has essentially make a strawman argument by not showing high altitude film, by only using low altitude film where no one states you should see curve to begin with.

It's a strawman wrapped up in another strawman !

There are no updates on this Web site that provide any evidence that the conference ever happened. In particular, the page <http://fe2018.com/news/>, which is the target of their "NEWS & UPDATES" link, is blank except for a routine header & footer.
