    • I'm sure that somone will take it on.  Here's the thing, though, and this is true not only about this subject but about many others.  As AI / CGI improve, it'll be more and more difficult to tell the difference between computer generated images / videos and reality.  I'm actually concerned about it, where they could get to a point that they could DeepFake the entire world into believing almost anything.  Even if you were there in person, they have exceptional holographic projection techniques now, where I've seen whales swimming around in the sky that looked very convincing.

    • Plus we have to take into account that people believe what they read and see before trusting their own 5 senses. 

    We saw this with covid, when most of the world believed there was a pandemic, despite no bodies in the streets and none of their fellow parishoners, colleagues and schoolfriends dying. 

    The SSPX know exactly how many burials they perform each year and was perfectly placed to report that there was no increase in deaths in 2020. But they believed there was an epidemic, just like the rest. 

    So as long as the earth is officially round, it doesn't matter how convincing or unconvincing the video evidence is, it will stay that way. Those is power have retained the main lesson learnt from the Milgram experiment, that what is right is decided by the person perceived to be in authority, and that the rest of humanity will be grateful that they are not responsable for thinking for themselves.
