    Perhaps they are people like myself who found that picture sacrilegious.  An image of Our Lord should not be defaced and used in such a way.

    The globe earthers want to separate God from His creation.

    The globe earth indoctrination seems like the freemasonic view, which is a view that God is just an architect who created the world, but then left mankind essentially on his own.

    It could be that professed globe earthers are afraid the idea of a God-centered earth, for some reason.

    While it's true that IRL the level is way too big, since this concrete statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro is 92 feet wide, still, if it were full size, we do have 8-foot levels in common use these days so that's not entirely deceptive (although the scale is off since the vials would not be that large if it were an 8' level).
