I don’t think Flat Earthers are stupid because of their belief; even if the Earth turned out to be flat, I would still think they are by-and-large literal morons because of the MANNER in which they have presented themselves in arguing for that belief.

“Idiot” - that’s rich coming from people who want to maintain - at one and the same time - that the horizon remains at eye level regardless of height but that the Earth is a finite surface.
How much of an “idiot” does one have to be to not comprehend.how the angle of depression between two points a finite distance apart always increases as their vertical separation increases if the horizontal separation is constant? The angle between ones view “straight ahead” and a point a finite distance away will increase as o e goes up and the point will appear “lower” - only a point at infinity can remain perpetually at this “eye level”, and that is precisely what the argument for a never-sinking horizon is intended to demonstrate: that the Earth is not a finite sphere but an i finite plain. You’re so misguided that you don’t even understand the arguments you’re citing to support a view that is actually co ready to that if the source.

As this website explains, angle of depression is a line of sight thing, regarding lines and angles, something impossible on a globe. Since you say the earth is globular, the person standing on a hill cannot see things in an angle of depression because the object would be behind the curve. Angle of depression is completely compatible with flat earth and not a globe because the angle itself joins two straight lines, not an arc and a line, which would take a different formula to figure that problem out.

They're not stupid, but they're tired of not having any snappy comeback when they're called stuff like flat-tards, flatulents and flat-liners. When their hypothesis falls flat, their flavor is flat and their ratings are flat. They're scraping the flat bottom-of-the-barrel for whatever they can find, and it isn't much, so they run with it, but they're flat out of luck, flatly speaking.
