The Bible is without error, AND the Bible does not describe definitively the shape of the Earth, so it isn't wrong there.
Some passages may seem to support the "flat" earth but that is not what constitutes definitive description.
In any case, it's not the place of the Bible to tell us what we can observe for ourselves, especially using technology.
You can't be serious. The Bible is The Word of God. Hence, it trumps our own reason. It is the very domination of our impulses, passions and emotions by our reason which keeps us sane. Yet, our reason must be dominated by God, otherwise we will end up mired in modernistic philosophy, because man's reason is much more inclined to pride than it is to humility. Eventually, a soul dominated by reason will slip into pride and that will push God out. In the end, we must say, God I surrender myself to you and that surrender is total (our reason included).
