Good question. I'd be interested in hearing explanations of how this is all faked.
This has been dealt with myriad times. There are dozens of different techniques that could be used to fake this, and NASA doens't even use the best ones available, as they're frequently caught in various "glitches" where their tech fails. NASA does have the so-called "vomit comet", as plane that dives to simulate low G. I knew some people at NASA Glenn who rode on it a few times. In addition, did you know they have the largest green screen in the world at one of their US centers? Wonder why. They also have contracts with various CGI companies. In many of their videos you can see harnesses where the algorithm to eliminate them glitches or fails. Occasionally they'll drop something and it'll fall to the ground like a brick (meaning there's gravity there). It's not uncommon for the astronots to "phase out" while the background remains. NASA gets about 25-30 billion dollars per year of tax funding, so, if a movie studio can do it, so can they. In fact, they have contracts with various special effects companies that also have movies studios for their client, and they actually have kept the terms of those contracts "secret". One could go on for hours, and there are many videos out there exposing their nonsense.
"Space walks" are conducted in the pool at Johnson Space Center in which is immersed a full-scale copy (allegedly) of ISS, and in quite a few of their "space walk" videos, you can see bubbles floating out through space (another glitch in the algorithm to blot those out), and an occasional reflection of somebody wearing scuba gear in the visor of an astronaut being filmed.
