I am an REer but they even explicitly say it's a composite. I'm just too skeptical of government organizations doing stuff in space, where they can claim anything happens.

Embarrassing video looks like animation from a colorized 1950s movie. Cheap, choppy, cheesy.  The clouds are painted on and the globe visibly shifts. Pretty shabby.

Have any of you spotted the Space Station? Check this link.

First time I saw it I didnt know what it was. Then a friend of mine  told me about it. Depending on your location (almost anywhere in the world) you can see it once in while right after sunset. Preferable outside the cities. It  reflects the light of the sun and moves faster  and brighter than an airplane. It  suddenly disappears when it enters the shadow of the earth. Nice spectacle. Give it a try!

Dankward, if I didn't know better, I'd say you're a "plant" pretending to push globe earth, but are secretly pushing Flat Earth.

Are you SERIOUS?

You're going to put THAT video forward as your evidence for globe earth?

That is one of the most convincing arguments FOR Flat Earth that I've seen. It proves NASA to be a bunch of liars and CGI fakers.

I'm always in the group of thinking men who ask tough questions. Sometimes those questions are asked by others first. But I always second them! I always trust my common sense and faculty of Reason above some authority that claims to have dogmas I must believe. My position is "Unless you're God or one of His representatives, please don't tell me what I have to believe."

Questions like "why don't the clouds move over a 24 hour period?" plus very obvious ones like "why is the word 'sex' photoshopped into the clouds on that NASA photo?"

Watching a few Flat Earth videos, I've heard some questions and observations I had never thought of before. Things that made me think. Things I wished >I< had thought of. Let's just say they got my attention, and a lot of respect.

True science is not dogmatic. It is never "settled". It doesn't operate on ostracism and ridicule. It has to do with physical experiments and observations of the natural world. Hypotheses are formed and tested by many scientists. These hypotheses develop into working theories.

But there are no dogmas, heresies, or heretics in science. No derision for those who think for themselves, think outside the box, or ask questions.

That's how I know NASA is NOT made up of scientists. They are a bunch of paid shills, defending their "sweet gig" and high paying jobs by deceiving the public. They probably feel very big knowing they have the truth, and most people don't have a clue. I bet they look down on the vast unwashed masses who buy into their bunk.

PS.

I have a message for Dankward and those like him:

Did it ever occur to you, that you can come up with a lame excuse for ANYTHING? What, do you think they're going to stutter and say, "OK, you got me. The earth is flat! Everything we've done since the 1960s is all a big fat lie!" Do you really expect that kind of response?

Excuses don't always hold water or add up. But they fool a lot of people, because they are ignorant about the field in question. People TRUST Nasa. They accept their explanations, their excuses, because they have trust in that organization.

I'm sure they have excuses for why the Twin Towers collapsed into their own footprints at free-fall speed after short, localized fires on some of the top floors. They have an excuse for everything. It's just that the excuses are lame, pathetic, and don't match reality or the facts.

An adulterer comes home at 4 AM after "staying late at work". He smells like perfume because "the guys were messing around and played a practical joke". And the adulterer is not interested in romance because "I'm so tired from putting in all this overtime at work".

The question is: are you going to buy those lame excuses, or think for yourself?
