Looks like this particular truck uses a propane torch to ignite the wood, which would be just as unattainable and unsustainable as gasoline, though.

Maybe some of the other woodgas vids have a different combustion method to ignite the wood?

Pretty cool. I wonder how much of a project it would be to convert a truck into that?

Looks like they were pretty common in Europe during WWII due to gas shortages. Sad that we might be looking at something similar today due to manufactured shortages.
