Today, one has to think out of the box to make a living. Sadly, very few people have the resilience to change as needed. To survive today one has to create his own living, work for himself. Look to South America and Third World countries like it, for an example of the future of Europe and the USA. In South America 80-90% of the people are lucky if they can find work, the other 9-19% are the common people who work for themselves (and hire others), the 1% are the rich.

Go get a job at anything that you can use to make yourself valuable in the future. Use employment as a tool to become self sufficient and start your own business. Move from job to job getting everything you can out of your employment. Consider work a paid education, so you can work for yourself. Think Third World , and forget about how it use to be.

Many young people are lazy. They expect high pay doing little. A lot of people have Lyme disease and are working.
There are people who are battling cancer and are working. Young people make excuses.

Many of my generation are a bunch of dysfunctional immature human beings who had these lazy children.

The above is true, but it still doesn't take away that their are few jobs. If they were all hard working, their would be even fewer jobs. People should expect to be worked as slaves and left to die in a ditch when sick people were during the horrors of the industrial revolution. With euthanasia laws being what they are, they can also look forward to a quick death when they can no longer be productive. Thankfully, this world is not our final end and only temporary.

For the non-Catholic, life must be capricious and wicked. I take comfort in divine providence and hopefully, would even happily except a stay in a gulag if it were God's will.
