In the beginning there was a subtle attack on the Church with a statue of someone holding a cross and a statue of a bound slave. I watched a little bit more, just past the three minute mark, and the film made a  comparison between the energy used by an individual in a 3rd world country to a household in the US. I stopped watching after that, I can’t stand propaganda.

He said "individual", but actually meant to say "household".

You're quick to nitpick and quickly dismiss the hard work of others, but you're not able to do a quick 5-second Google search? Come on, do it for my sake at least! You'd rather accuse him -- and ME -- of pushing propaganda?

FYI, it's not propaganda. I watched the whole video and I think it's EXCELLENT and free from error. That's why I posted it and am promoting it on CathInfo. If it were propaganda as you say, I would stand guilty myself of trying to propagandize the people. He made the video, I'm promoting it. How am I not equally responsible?

He talks about many TRUE POINTS about America that make you think, and realize that if anything happened to our grid, economy, etc. it would be a powder keg ready to go off.

We are about the most ethnically diverse country ever. We are 50/50 divided politically. It is mathematically impossible to be any more divided than we are! Furthermore, the two sides are pushing away from each other, each side becoming more radical. Polite discourse is becoming increasingly impossible.

We own lots of guns. A huge % of Americans are medicated, many on mind-altering prescriptions. That doesn't count those on illegal drugs! We don't have basic survival skills. Most have no knowledge of hunting, killing, butchering, preparing the food they eat every day. Not just "I prefer to pay someone else to do it", it's more like we CAN'T do it even if we had to. That's the difference.

If you had continued watching the film, his point was not to an earth-loving, anti-tech, pro-animal, save-the-earth propaganda.  His point was that if the grid goes down in 1st world countries, they are more reliant on it, so they will suffer more to adapt without it.  He used the example of all the tech the West uses in farming, while 3rd world countries would hardly be affected by an grid catastophe because their farming methods are "old school".
