I played piano from third till fifth grade and bass from sixth grade until the end of high school.
I find many of your posts fine, but the accusation we are all broading Jansenits is just tiring to me.....anyone else??
Same. Many people have this mistaken idea that Jansenism was a hard-right movement; it was not, it was more mixed, at least that's what it became. For instance, early feminist tendencies could be found within the Jansenists.
In reference to another point you made Belloc, I'm not so sure that Jansenism should be called Catholic Calvinism. Yes, these two heterdox beliefs did have many similarities when it comes to soteriology, but there are also some major differences, i.e. frequent communion.
