Well now it’s starting to happen in Great Britain, with the implementation of “traffic filters,” by which the government controls and limits the free travel of its citizens, restricting travel to a certain number of miles per household per week (and requiring permits to exceed limits):

Notice how well electric cars fit into this control measure: 

Some places accessible by gas or diesel will be inaccessible by electric car, because of distance limitations between battery charges (and even if they were, by plugging into the matrix to charge that battery Big Brother knows exactly where you are).

How will anyone escape/exceed The traffic filters in an electric (ie., controlled and traceable) automobile?

Wouldn’t do any good, since electric vehicles don’t have combustion engines.

Diesel engines are also easily converted to run on vegetable oil (bio-diesel).

In fact, some of Ford's early engines ran on hemp oil, and that was one of the reasons they outlawed marijuana, so that big oil can force everyone to use petroleum-based products.

An engineer friend of mine here in Louisville had a veggie-mobile; it was a car that ran on vegetable oil.  He would drive around to the restaurants and get their veggie oil.  He was pulled over one day by the police because he had a contraption in the passenger seat which looked like a hospital-drip, bomb-like contraption.  He told the cop, "Its a veggie-mobile."  This is a 100 percent true story.  And the last three digits of his phone number, 666.  I cannot even make this stuff up.
