We just had a series of break-ins to the cluster of mailboxes at the bottom of our street. It got me thinking.
How is this shutdown affecting THIEVES, who earn their living by leeching off the resources of others? Everyone's home now; burglary has got to be much more difficult, with so many more people home 24/7 now. Not just during the day (unemployed, furloughed, work from home, kids off school) but all night as well -- since there's nothing to "go out and do" in the evening. I don't feel the least bit sorry for them of course -- "He who will not work, neither let him eat." -- but I bet some professional thieves are starting to feel the pain right about now.
Maybe they're breaking into mailboxes, hoping to get some TrumpBux checks and/or tax refund checks?
