Unlike many in my age bracket, I AM aware of my projected SS payments-IF it hasn't gone bankrupt, IF I work through age 67. I'll get $592 per month. Anyone know of a place I can live on that? Home Depot has some cute tool sheds that look like houses! Anyone willing to share your land? Help install a fireplace or run a long elec. cord? AARP never asked me, but I plan to work until I drop. It's more Catholic anyhow! Posted from the middle of nowhere from my vacation villa - the canvas condo. :-) I'm not complaining. I have waterfront property, a nice air-mattress, a campfire, pit-toilet, fresh spring water, private beach/bathing facility, peace and quiet. I stayed dry despite a torrential storm yesterday. The only modern technology is a "hotspot" in a H2O proof box hoisted in a tree. Works great!
All of us survivalists by default need to learn wild-crafting for medical care. What better place than the hills of West Virginia?
