  • Interesting, that I was denigrated as a liberal for trying to say "hey, we got bigger problems then a few malecontents".

    A few things then

    WOMEN:
-I prefer whites as a I am one and that is my background....like either blonds or S.European, Med women. Then perhaps, normal brunettes and lastly, red heads.
-not opposed to Hispanic women that are primarily, if not exclusively, European looking. Some indian, not a big deal...Have even seen some knock-outs that clearly have afican heritage. Anyone that knows, most blacks, hispanics in the Caribbean and the americas generally are of a higher class, the lowest to them and africans is the american black.

    GUNS:
-own a few, have a concealed carry permit, think everyone should know how to use one, esp women, thanks to burgeoning rape and violence....same goes for martial arts, if I had a daughter, that would be a must.
-there are some legit laws to keep the truly dangerous and unstable away, but often, they are abused, not properly enforced, etc.

    ETHNICITY:
-nearly, if not, 100% white Western and Central European.
-family lore has it I may have had a indian g-mother a few greats back
-I identify first and foremost with my Scottish heritage, then German (Bavarian and Prussian).
-have a lot of pride in the accomplishments of my forebearers, though not arrogance, nor a accuse for  :fryingpan: others not of my "stock"

    FAITH:
-is the most important thing in life, true religion and practice of same.
-as countless saints and Popes have taught, Catholics are united in a family, not divided. Neither Jєω nor greek and now, neither black, nor white in the Catholic family.
-my Faith to me is more important and have more effection for it then all the nationalistic flag waving and slogans.

    MARRIAGE:
-uphold teaching on the unity and sacredness of same
-feel that socailly and by norms/practice, best that marriage be in same groups-ie whites, blacks, etc.
-but, feel it is not up to me to tell who is and should not marry....that is up to the Church and to date, have seen NO authority which divides on marriage, beleivers into races in marriage.
-not up to me to decide, let God and His Church.

    RACE RELATIONS
-have had good and bad experiences with various groups, but
-dont let that decide on a whole group of people, a few or more, bad apples
-the NWO and the destruction of the Church is far more on my mind, then a few idiots rioting or babbling about others..I dont sit in   of a race riot or "someone is coming to get me" mentality.
-so goes the Church, so goes the world. Want a better world, community, etc? me too, so help defend and propagate the Faith....
-fear mongering is not "being a realist" it is usually rooted in a bad  experience and inability to move forward, instead, on is entrenched in fear, the past and blanket labelling of people.
-by living the Gospel, we show Christ.......

    PROFESSIONAL
-have worked as a CSI, deputy sheriff, policeman and have done PI work and a whole host of service jobs over the yrs.
    -now do disability claims.
-have had good and bad people to work with, have seen and experienced reverse racism and seen racism
-have dealt with and had to use some force with, really scary and dangerous people.
-counseled one time by a priest when I was getting jaded and falling into the me aginast them trap, to look at everyone I met as Christ, like St. Franics with the leper, he embraced and who then disappared.
-meaning, do your LEO job, but dont see the person you deal with as a piece of garbage or at race/ethnic issues. This will lead to some sinful and bad consequences and lower your own soul.

    POLITICAL
    -left the GOP in 2004,
-worked for 4 yrs as a state leder to build up a 3rd party that was far to the right of GOP
-still advocating alternative political solutions and
-ones grounded in Catholic Order and
    -hope for a Catholic State
-pro-monarchist, though not dogmatic about it
-want Scotland to be free and independant
-think France, Germany and Russia would be better with a Monarch at their head and this system, really, is the most natural
-think most elections, esp in USA, are frauds and a waste of time.

    ECONOMICS
    -distributist
-affirm Just War doctrines and subsidiarity

Support the death penalty, though often, over-used or mis-used.....I have had to guard prisoners and lock them up AFTER they were sentenced to death and hd to deal with them and their families......it is not something, however heinous their crime, that is funny nor an occasion for a slam dunk. many of them prior to and after sentence, were repentant, some not and most of time, the families were devastated. No deputy I knew acted like  :dancing-banana: , even when yes that person deserved the sentence, it was eerie and somber.....

    TEMPERMENT
-owing to some mild abuse as a child and my Celtic heritage, I can be rather blunt, and hot tempered.
-if one approached me to talk, and is up front, honest and at least friendly, will be happy to talk. Approaching me with :fryingpan: is not usually the most sane approach and normally, like most, my walls go up and the battlements armed.
-most people these days are sleeping sheep, I am nor and this is both a comfort and a real hard thing to grasp and deal with.
-my humor is at times dark, sarcastic and off beat
-but I try to use some form of humor at times to get a point across
-I find that most people I talk with usually dont get what I say and dont take the time to listen, read and discern or ask.
-tend to be loyal and expect it in others.

Well, a lot more could say, but, that is a brief and incomplete sketch of me......thanks for listening those that took the time to read and think.....

Its been good coming back after 19+ months and have learned and shared a lot. Now, need to go and wish you all the best, good laughs, and hope we all see each other on the other side. Will miss CI and really have to struggle not to come and post...as I have really, no one to talk to-surrounded by well meaning NO NeoCaths and Prots, will have to focus more on interior, somewhat side tracked as of late. Came back to CI as I was getting a lot of opposition from  :devil2: as I have tried to pray more and delve more into interior prayer, etc. CI has only made me more negative and  :really-mad2:  and this is not really who and what I am. I realise for some here, they will not read and have nothing but scorn and twisting words for and about me. Anger, termoil seem to be their lives. It shows in posts......

  • Belloc, Even though we do not agree on some subjects, I have appreciated your polite discourse, and enjoyed seeing what you write.

Hopefully you will find what you seek.  I haven't found it, either.  I don't fit in anywhere either--too holy roller and traditional for one group, too feminist and schooled for another.

If it weren't for the eucharist and the true presence, I think a fundie church might be more accepting of me than the TRAD experiences I have had so far. but I'll be a lonely Catholic--at least I have my little family.

Oh well, I take solace in the Lord's words in JOHN-- If the world hates you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you. If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Hang in there Belloc--the best is yet to come.
I am not alone, for the father is with me.

Belloc, thank you for sharing about yourself. Yes, it's true. You've shared a lot. I am happy to have "met" you!

I understand how it is when you really have to struggle not to come and post... We are going to be ever more alienated and many traditionalists are cold and hard, I find, but not all. Some who feel alienated (I presume) proceed to alienate in return. Tragic! God sees the heart.

I couldn't improve on what Loriann has said so I'll just second her words.

May God bless you and your good wife.

  • I'm sorry to see you leave, Belloc. It was good to have you here on CatholicInfo, and I wish you the best.

    God Bless.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • There's something about you alright Belloc.......

I see how irate you become when someone calls you the "L" word but you have no problem screaming "nαzι", thug and skinhead" at anyone who would dare question your personal feelings or articles produced attacking NS Germany, Hitler or Nationalism. You seem to become enraged the minute others disagree with you and let the epithets fly while condeming them that  you will not be dragged into the sewer with them or a street brawl as you seem to feel so "above" all that. You need to lower your intellectual blinders a bit and see things for what they are sometimes or at least keep things a bit rational and sane and stop accussing others falsely and needlessly calling out the forum owner to either ban your oppostion or yourself.

I don't want to publicly chide you in your departure and asked you to privately discuss our disagreements in PM but you refused and decided to pubilcly slander me openly in a forum where I couldn't defend my position because of "no discussions" which you brazenly disregarded yourself and then blamed the moderator for not enforcing his own rules. I call that either hypocrisy or insanity or perhaps both.

Either way if you decide to take a break from posting because your battling your own demons, then so be it, but don't blame others or the moderators for your decision, because that's what it is at the end of the day.

Anyway, I hope things work out for you.

  • Sorry to see you go, Mr. Belloc.  You will be missed.

And, as little as they may be, you will be included each new day in my lowly recitation of the Roman Breviary.  In the Prayer of the Church we shall always remain Brothers-in-Christ.

    Your unworthy friend,

    Brother Francis

  • A thread entitled "Somthing about me" is actually Belloc's "Goodbye cruel forum" post?

I'll miss him too but he'll be back.

Afterall, isn't that a picture of Arnold Schwarzenneger as his avatar?  :laugh2:

  • Belloc,

I will miss you and wish you well.

After reading your final post, I really wish you were my neighbor, or that we could have a beer together.  I think I will go to the refrigerator and get one now in your honor.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir
