I mean they interpret "faith" on their own, independent of church authority, and their whole society is based on that separation from church authority. Their belief wont come from above, but from within. It made them twisted political manipulative conspirators who think they are the answer to everything and the ends justify the means, because it is all in the name of "faith" but it is a faith which they define, not church superiors. They read pre v2 pope statements and think they know it all and cant wait to show it off as proof of piety. If they were truly pious they would be humble and concerned with spiritual life only.
They cant handle being small. They want to be important in the destiny of the church by pushing their own slant on affairs as if the religion was about exalting political agenda and not humility and self denial. judge not and you shall not be judged.

You will see a lot of that right here on this forum everyone seems to know what happens to the unbaptized infants, flat earth fantasy, Baptism of desire, the lack of it, threads like those but woe to them that teach their opinion or interpretations.
