On an aside note, I picked up some over-the-counter sleeping pills once, and was shocked to learn they were exactly the same as allergy pills, those allergy pills that make one feel so unpleasantly sleepy.

Same substance. Different label. They should just name 'em 'Sleeping + Allergy Pills', can't have one without the other, instead of pretending it's only an optional side effect.
    Sincerely,

  • I guarantee you every warning that is included with products is because the manufacturer, or another manufacturer making a similar product, was sued because a person did what the disclaimer warns against, and was injured.

The companies aren't stupid for putting these warnings on there, they are simply protecting themselves against litigious idiots who lack common sense.

Buy the cheaper one. That's what I do. I need it around in case I accidentally eat peppers. :( It's a miserable thing to be allergic to, because there are so many different things I can't eat anymore.

If I find out I inadvertently ate some, I immediately take one of those diphenhydromines and yes, I'm tired, but it helps the stomach attack I get after I eat them.

Well, if my prescription sleeping pill DIDN'T cause drowsiness, I would want my money back.
