I didn't even know he was sick.
He schooled me (in a holy way) on very many interesting topics, one being how "not broken" the U.S. Church was in the 1950s, and that the forced changes were not looked upon kindly. But he went into detail how 1950s Chicago had a thriving Catholic community, more or less; nobody KNEW anything needed to be fixed at all!
(In that topic, another priest visited and had his own say, but still, from a LAYMAN'S POV, Church was NOT broken, and couldn't be. And then V2 broke it. <---not sure I'm giving Tim's actual POV, but he was quite passionate about the 50s Church in the U.S. being very edifying and holy.)
Tim is most certainly a good Catholic, and we should all pray most fervently for the repose of his soul.
