This is really good.

Being prepared for the first 7 days is a feat in and of itself. It’s after day 7 where the rubber meets the road. You’ll need to protect what is yours. People will kill you to take what provisions you have. Guns and ammo will be a great way to keep the family safe.

I've heard so many times that even if you're broke, you can still "prepare" to be ahead of so much of the dumb sheep.
How, you might ask?

MENTAL PREPARATION. He addresses it in this video. People will be like deer in the headlights, delusional, rationalizing "it will get better soon" or "they will come and make it all better" meanwhile precious time is being lost.

Just being psychologically prepped -- knowing, for example, how fragile our civilization is, and half-expecting a collapse to happen "any year now", will put you ahead of so many people RIGHT OFF THE BAT.

And then of course, if you have basic skills/equipment/supplies (i.e., "preps") it just goes up from there.

What fascinates me about this point is that EVERYONE can achieve this. Everyone can cast off "normalcy bias", practice being rational, and habitually keep themselves plugged in to reality. But if you habitually ignore reality now, maybe you're preparing yourself to be delusional when SHTF. So... get in the habit of always acknowledging and accepting reality. That is also a habit, a muscle you have to train!

I know this may sound mean, but I can't wait for a collapse to happen. We are far past being spoiled rotten materialists, especially our sour milk minded women.  I've said this many times before.

This is a big reason I fled Boston because what I saw in this scenario was an indefensible position surrounded by saltwater! Not to mention we were the hub of biotech and nanotechnology that probably had a bomb with our name on it written in either Chinese or Russian. If it came down to scavenging food the squirrels 🐿️ would run out in about a week and brooklines famous turkeys in about a day haha. You would have to be sufficient in your home enough for the whole block because no one there takes preparation seriously. The saltwater fish only come in the summer. All the winter flounder got fished out in the 70s and still haven’t recovered. Bostons dirty water has been memorialized in music! They love that dirty water but Boston was not my home. Now i got the decent spread in Knoxville which is not ideal but better. I’m working on chickens now and 2 large gardens both twice the size of my old ones. I’m also digging a large pond for bullheads and my beloved koi/goldfish. But that will be extra water at a couple thousand gallons and some bbq ready fish if needed. I got probably 3 months + of freeze dried food rice and beans. I’m looking into antibiotics next. Now that you can order them online. Of course I’ve got enough guns and ammo for the block. That’s a given. And all my cold weather gear from living in the Adirondacks and Boston so long. 💪🏻🙏 📿 I’ve been expecting collapse since Obama. Since 9/11 really. The best advice I can give is know your neighbors! Most people don’t. You can get a good indication of those you have to help, those who can be good help, and those who might not have the best intentions. I find very few to have ill intentions especially if you help them out
A bit.
