    • I never knew the Russians had settled northern California.  Redwood really is a gorgeous wood.  But they haven't been around for "millions of years".  Maybe about 6-7 thousand years at the most.  Coincidentally, the oldest living tree is in California.  https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/oldest-living-individual-tree

    4800 years old.  Which means it started growing right after the flood.

    Yeah, even my pre-adolescent children all groaned when they said the "millions of years" thing.  I have them trained pretty well regarding the old earth myth.

    But that's a pretty cool observation you made, anout those trees going back to right after the flood; I'd have missed that.

    Feels good to have a link to the ancient world of 5k years ago.
