Everything has become such a con in our culture.  Everywhere you turn, somebody is trying to scam you out of something.  And, there's all these goons who want to protect their cons.  So, if you tell others how to avoid them, they get mad and attack you.

It's no wonder we're dying out, with a culture that encourages an "all's fair in love and war and everything else" attitude.  It's too much competition and not enough cooperation.

That's right.

Fraud has supplanted force as the preferred method of exploitation.

With a V2 "Pope" who kisses the feet of Muslim and atheist jail birds, things could be turning around for Western civ. To get along they must go along. Forget about Las Navas de Tolosa. That was politically incorrect.

Freud and the TV will lead them. He relished three wounds to civilization from Copernicus, Darwin, and himself. These were all in the double-minded nature of a con game.

Yeah, our modern culture is soaked in fraud/deception.  That's probably the best way to describe it!  Still, I think it's more than just tactic;  it's a whole change in "philosophy."  I watched, "how green was my valley" recently, where i think a welsh family is torn apart, because the mine owner has kind of declared war on the men who work in the mine and, by extension, their families!  So, some of the younger men want to organize into labor unions, to fight back.  Of course, it's only a band aid solution.  So,  the mine owner brings in cheap labor from another valley town.  As a result, lots of men are laid off and they leave for the hope of finding jobs in far away  places like australia and north america.  So, this transient system of labor is created by a decision to treat workers like the enemy, instead of like family.
