  • Since the media is not following this at all, and is reporting only the cover-up excuses about everything that is obviously going on down in the gulf, it's hard to find any news about what is happening with it. I had been following Project Gulf Impact's channel (of the same name) on youtube, but they don't update very often, so there wasn't much news there.

Today I found a new resource,OilFlorida's channel on youtube.

They had with someone from the Project Gulf Impact, in which he tells how sick their team got being exposed to it, and says that things are getting "worse... way worse".

That thing is far from over, and the food concerns are all being brushed under the carpet. Not just sea food, but apparently even CATTLE there, are being subjected to testing (who knows if it's sufficient testing or not!) before they can be sold.

Essentially, what I'm hearing is that there is "testing" going on with the food... just really shoddy (if not downright ridiculous) testing, and no testing that will actually detect the dangerous chemicals in oil or dispersants! The tests are basically being geared to totally avoid detecting this stuff, whether by insufficient sampling, not sampling the right parts of an organism, or not looking at the harmful chemicals.

Anyhow, just so people realize... this is an ongoing thing. Lots of people are getting really, really sick, and even dying down there, from these chemicals, or from the impact these chemicals have had in union with other, pre-existing conditions (making them way, way worse because of their effect on certain biological systems in us, like skin protection). These illnesses are being simply covered up, ignored and misdiagnosed, and the people doing the cleanup are told to not even go to normal hospitals, but to one that BP has set up.

And then there's the question of how much oil is still leaking down there. (Especially if you buy the story that there were two wells, and the well that blew up is still gushing, while the other well is the one with the cap on it, that they kept showing.) I've heard lots of crazy stuff about it, but... anyhow, now you have one more resource you can check out.

  • Over twenty years latter they are still cleaning up from the
EXONN VALDEZ oil tanker spill in Alaska. Most of the men in
the clean up are now dead living to an average age of 50.
The oil disaster in the Gulf is a 1000 times worse and
    its affects will be generations.
