  • I lost total respect for the NRA years ago when it was revealed that Lapierre was using donor money to fund a lifestyle that was at odds with the mission and meaning of the NRA.

    The late Neal Knox moved against LaPierre in the early 80's.… and was cast out. At that time the primary problem with LaPierre was not so much financial chicanery as it was his squishy compromising that enabled such abominations as GCA '86 (including its machine gun freeze), Brady, and the other subsequent losses that still plague us.
