Besides the character substitutions, perhaps consider these:

Why does it require two "returns" to obtain a new line?
Why does a simple "paste" result in a different font at a larger size?

Both of those things are quirks/bugs with the plug-in I paid for to improve the post editing function (yes, this is the IMPROVED version).

I didn't write the software in question, and I am totally passive and helpless with what they give me. I can only hope they improve it over the years AND I get the $50 to renew my updates. But I really don't think they update it very often, which is why I let the updates lapse most of the time.
