    • I suppose you know, but many people are replacing the children they will never have with pets.

    • This has been going on for quite some time in NY, it started with guys on the gαydar spectrum in the 1980’s. You’d see them in Chelsea and the West Village pushing ladies’ lap dogs in strollers. Now, it’s all sorts of people acting like a pet is a baby. 
    I’ll take a pass on the video. It’s not worth $9.00 toll plus parking to see it.

    Wait for their reaction when they are told some dog's have hair and not fur!  :laugh1:

    And "adoption" when you get a dog.  I don't remember that term being used in that way when I was young.

    I love animals and think they should be treated well, however they’re not on a par with children, I have a friend who dresses her small dog in little outfits, posts about the dog on social media as if the dog is her actual baby. I said something about my children and she replied about how she reads a bedtime story to her DOG!! I think that’s insane.
