    • Back in the day, I was turned on to the 'Art of the Rifle' (not to be confused with the excellent book of the same name by Jeff Cooper).  The blog has since become only sporadically posted to, so I don't read it all that much often.  However, this blog entry from last April may be apropos to this thread:
