  •   In addition to some of the other excellent suggestions, ask a traditional priest to bless candles, preferably 100% bee's wax. Very powerful against the devil, evil influence and helps to restore calm. We light a blessed tea light candle (not bees wax) every night for the rosary and let it burn for the 4-5 hours it will last after the rosary is finished. When severe weather threatens, or possible social upheaval /disruption threatens are other times for these candles.

  • Crucifix or icon in EVERY room. My room makes up for the lack in other rooms, but tis my older sister's place, I do not have the authority to dictate on many matters. So I keep myself as covered as I can be.

There is so much evil that happens now outside of one's home, extra precautions in this spiritual combat must be taken, as I have listened and read from exorcists.
Yes, I have a blessed Crucifix in my bookshelf right next to my bed with blessed icons of Ss. Augustine, Monica, John of the Cross and Margaret Mary and blessed statues of Our Lady of Fatima and St. Michael flanking the Crucifix. There's an icon of Our Lady in my son's room and I need to dig out another one to be blessed to put in the girls' room as well. Once my in-laws move out, I'm getting two nice pictures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our living area, regardless of what my wife thinks, and renewing the home Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which I made a point of doing last Sunday after Mass.

Come to think of it, I have a couple small blessed St. Benedict Crucifixes still up on the outer doorways of my old house that I'll probably remove and put up at the new house too.

Already one positive note is that my 5-year old daughter convinced my mother-in-law to test her memory and recite bedtime prayers with her. :incense:
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

Sounds reassuring the actions you are taking.

  • I'd certainly get the old home blessed. No reason to leave a problem behind for others.

Yeah, I'll see if he's able to do it. He's got 12 new novices this year in Winona, so he already warned us last weekend that he'll have his hands full. Otherwise, I might see if someone from the CMRI or SGG can drive out my way.

  • House Blessing
House Excorcism ( may be a part of the house blessing)
    Epiphany blessing ( above)
Holy Salt around perimeter and doors windowsills
St Benedict medals on every window and doors
    Small Crucifix outside every doorway
Home and family Consecration to the Sacred Heart
    Display of the Sacred Heart
Blessed Purple Scapular of Marie Julie Jehenney displayed
Get rid of any questionable books and pictures that may have Chinese writing or something that you can't understand.
    Blessed statue of Our Lady.

We moved into a 70 year old house a year and a half ago  and the peace in it is palpable. I've never felt more comfortable. Even the old basement at night doesn't freak me out .( except for an occasional mouse in winter!)

  • Wow, DL. We just moved into what used to be my in-laws' home too.  Thankfully, no demonic activity in either the old home or the new.  BUT, we should get it blessed by a priest.  Unfortunately, there are no real priests for hundreds of miles.
And even if you have a real priest, he may not come, as my local sspx priest..

You could chalk a cross in each room, similar color to the walls, or in a not-so-obvious spot.

If he will not come, ask him for contact info for a priest that will come.

I must say yours is the first I've ever heard that a priest will not come - SSPX or otherwise. Perhaps you may need to go pick him up and bring him back? - which is rare but possibly understandable. But I've never, since this crisis began, have I ever heard of any priest that just flat out refuses to come.

I did that above every window and doorway in the old house. Wife didn't like that so much, so definitely need to color match with my chalk selection. :laugh1:

  • Yeah, I will talk to Father about doing that once my in-laws move out. I never had that done with our old home, which is maybe why whatever is in there, if there is something there, never went away.
Thank you for sharing and I am so sorry you are experiencing this! Perhaps both homes should be blessed!

  • We moved into a rental home that had a sodomite couple living there previously. The place had been renovated a few years before by the homeowner, but the inside was trashed by the homo renters (they were hoarders with multiple animals living in the house) the house was so infested with fleas it took us a full year of battling to get rid of them. The house reeked of stale cigarettes and the walls had Egyptian images hand painted everywhere. Creepy to say the least.

Thankfully we had an SSPX priest come and bless the place within a few weeks of moving in. We actually bought the house a few years later and still live in it to this day.

Nothing spooky has ever happened, but I do have holy images displayed, holy water, exorcized salt, St Benedict medals and Crucifixes, so hopefully only those who are friendly to the Catholic Faith will want to visit :incense:

I live an hour from an sspx chapel.  Priest refused to come, even if I drove him.

Thanks for the idea to ask for contact info for a priest that will come.
