  • I understand that there comes a point when even good people just can't give anything anymore because they've already given everything they can give. I've been in the hospital multiple times in the past few months but I closed down the GoFundMe for my family and didn't ask anyone for money anymore because, even though we need it, enough was enough with the asking.

    I understand that.

I just thought that since my in-laws are in such a desperate situation and people on this form were so generous to my wife and I before I would try and see if they could help.

I was incredibly hesitant to ask you guys again for money for my extended family's needs today, but I didn't really know what else to do and I thought it was worth a shot.

You guys are really really good people and I understand how much you've helped us and I won't post asking for anything ever again.

  • Yes, please stop asking here.  It’s better to ask people you know in real life (ie family, friends, church members).  To me, you’re just a random person asking for $.  I will pray for you but I don’t believe you.  Good luck.

You are not behaving like a Catholic adult. You're behaving like a child. I don't care if you believe me. I care that you did not publicly accuse me of fraud with no evidence. You need to go to confession for false accusations that were completely baseless. This is serious. We are talking about grave sin.

I would also like a public apology. You need to present proof that I am "scamming people for money" as you posted, or retract your statement.

Imagine we were at your church and a man at your church was asking for money to help with his father-in-law's funeral cost, and you went up to him and said "I don't believe you." With no proof that he was lying about anything.

    That would be absurd.

Now imagine that you said to him, "you are scamming people for money." Again, you have absolutely no proof.

After your parish priest smacked you in the face, the man who you accused falsely might sue you For public defamation.

I have posted my real name and location and multiple family pictures on this website. Just because you are anonymous does not mean I am. And your IP is logged with every post as it says at the bottom so it would be easy for the police to find your name and address. You are publicly accusing me of fraud and it is not on.

The Internet is real life Especially if you're talking to people who are completely posting with a real identity.

    You need to apologize.

Ask family friends and church members? You just said I was scamming people for money. So do you want me to scam church members or are you abandoning your baseless allegations against me without the decency of acknowledging it?

Why would you want me to ask for funds elsewhere if I really was a scammer?

  One should *normally* ask people for money from their community, because these people *know* you.  Nobody on this site *knows* you in real life.  It is very easy to create a fake story online.  I'm sorry you don't understand this.

I already told you that I was praying for you.

You said I was "scamming people for money." Are you still saying that or not?

You should apologize if you're no longer saying that.

If you are still saying that, please provide proof.

I have already provided proof of telling the truth through photos and medical docuмents uploaded to this site.

Do you think that's an adequate response?

Are you still accusing me of a crime or not?
