I dunno. The bald guy in the back (who eventually slugs the guy who walks up to the group) isn't really even praying. Before the incident occurs, the bald guy keeps looking to his left, rather than praying, as if he's expecting someone to walk up to the group. The others aren't doing this. And if the guy who got slugged said something, it must have been very brief, because he was almost instantaneously hit by the bald guy in the back. Something just seems off about this scenario.
At the very least, the African Muslim was using a hand held stereo to disturb the group with screeching noises. You can hear the screeching sound and see the device in his right hand as he makes an effort to walk up to, and lurk close behind, the man praying. Look at the body language of the perpetrator as he did it.
The Frenchman defending the prayer group was looking to his left because of the intentional disturbance coming from the foreign Muzzie outside of the camera's sight. The fact is the man was trying to pray but he, also, had to be on guard for himself and his people in the prayer group. The Frenchman employed the Lord's advice, "Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves." (Matthew 10:16)
