This is what I have been trying to say.

Stock up on fresh water NOW.

Any ideas of other food stuff to stock up on, maybe peanut butter, beef jerky, I don't know just off the top of head those two come to mind.

Get a portable, handheld water filtration such as a Lifestraw,&tag=httpwwwchanco-20 too. One straw is good up to over 260 gallons of purified water down to 0.2 microns! They're supposed to be excellent; and they have a history of humanitarian use in 3rd world countries. I'm getting one very soon. Also, water purification tablets are good.

....but I've been stocking up on water, too; and other things, if you get my drift...

SOLAR FLARES: After weeks of quiet, solar activity is picking up. New sunspot AR1817 is crackling with C- and M-class solar flares. An M1.5-class eruption on August 12th (1041 UT) created a wave of ionization in the upper atmosphere above Europe and might have hurled a coronal mass ejection toward Earth. Stay tuned for updates.

On the jimmcanneyscience.com who has a weekly radio internet show.
According to spaceweather.com, the so called massive solar flare
narrowly missed earth event never happened.
It was towards the end of the 8/8 show that Jim McCanney spoke
about this non-event and gives the reason why a false event was
to spread deliberate fear among the populace.

CORONAL HOLE: A coronal hole has formed in the sun's northern hemisphere, and it is spewing solar wind into space. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory photographed the UV-dark gap during the early hours of August 14th:

The sun's magnetic field is traced by white curving lines. The coronal hole is where those magnetic field lines have opened up, allowing solar wind to escape. A stream of solar wind flowing from this coronal hole is expected to reach Earth on August 16-18. NOAA forecasters estimate a 25% chance of polar geomagnetic storms when the windy stream arrives. The solar eruption, known as a coronal mass ejection (CME), occurred at 4:24 a.m. EDT (0824 GMT) Tuesday and blasted billions of tons of solar particles toward Earth at a mind-boggling speed of 2 million mph (3.3 million km/h).

"Experimental NASA research models, based on observations from NASA's Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, show that the CME left the sun at speeds of around 570 miles per second, which is a fairly typical speed for CMEs," NASA officials wrote in an update today. NASA's twin Stereo spacecraft and the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, operated by NASA and the European Space Agency, captured photos of the solar storm from space.

The particles ejected by Earth-directed CMEs typically take two or three days to reach our planet, at which point they can trigger geomagnetic storms that can disrupt radio communications, GPS signals and power grids.
