A little dissapointed at all the Southerners not willing to tough the cold in Canada. Im from Egypt I did it! Anyways climate change is coming I might be able to grow bananas in a few years (LOL!)

Seriously though if God calls, you follow, we just have to keep our ears open. I dont really care about modern luxuries our generation is too spoiled as it is. We are personally off grid which was new to me but it didnt take long to adjust. As long as you have heating(wood), running water, and a roof over your head you can do well.

The winters where we are have been mild less a week or so of very cold temp. The summers are moderate but gardens grow well if they are root vegis. There is access to all ammentities but alot of privacy and space. The best thing though is its a fishermans paradise. Lots of lakes some of the cleanest in North America.  Annie

Soon enough, we will all be without our creature comforts, whether the separation is willing or unwilling.
